(Strategic Takeaway) {#so-what} Ekanos is an education app. It holds a 1.5/5 rating from 2 reviews. > **Bottom Line:** Ekanos requires a pivot to open-access previews and search functionality to remain relevant, as its current maintenance-only state and restrictive onboarding are eroding user trust. Addressing these navigation gaps would unlock the value of its 3D simulation assets. **Best for:** Aircraft maintenance technician students and aviation training organizations. ### PM Action Plan (Next Best Moves) - [ ] [INVEST] Ship a search function because it is the top-requested missing feature → improve manual navigation ### Outlook: Declining The aviation training market is shifting toward accessible, search-optimized digital resources. Ekanos remains exposed due to its stagnant development and restrictive access, which will likely lead to further churn as students favor more functional, free-to-access study materials. - 🔴 The 36-month update gap indicates a lack of active feature investment, which signals to users that the platform is in maintenance-only mode. - 🔴 Negative user sentiment regarding content quality and navigation tools suggests that Ekanos is failing to provide a superior experience over free alternatives. ## Key Metrics Summary | Metric | Value | | :--- | :--- | | Overall Rating | 1.5/5 | | Total Reviews | 2 | | Sentiment | Upset (20/100) | | Confidence | Medium | | Pricing Model | Subscription | | Platforms | iOS | | Key Features | 3 analyzed | | Outlook | Declining | ## Competitor Comparison | App | Rating | Sentiment | Developer | | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | | **Ekanos** (this app) | 1.5/5 | Upset | NAVCON ADVANCED SYSTEMS LLC | | [ALPA: Lernspiele für Kinder](https://marlvel.ai/apps/alpa-lernspiele-fur-kinder) | N/A/5 | N/A | ALPA Kids OU | | [ATPdigital (Legacy)](https://marlvel.ai/apps/atpdigital-legacy) | 2.0/5 | n/a | Bristol Groundschool International Ltd | | [Catbus Student](https://marlvel.ai/apps/catbus-student) | 4.4/5 | N/A | Cohota Join Stock Company | | [Chinese Tibetan Dictionary](https://marlvel.ai/apps/chinese-tibetan-dictionary) | 5.0/5 | Thrilled | Lobsang Monlam16922404891 | | [Insights to Behavior](https://marlvel.ai/apps/insights-to-behavior) | N/A/5 | N/A | Insights to Behavior | ## Company Profile - **Developer:** NAVCON ADVANCED SYSTEMS LLC - **Website:** [https://www.ekanos.online](https://www.ekanos.online) ## Data Sources & Links - **App Store ID:** 6451079018 - **Dev Site:** [Official Website](https://www.ekanos.online) - **Sources:** Developer website content, App store metadata, User reviews. ## Related Intel Reports - [*ALPA: Lernspiele für Kinder*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/alpa-lernspiele-fur-kinder) (ALPA Kids OU) · N/A Rating - [*ATPdigital (Legacy)*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/atpdigital-legacy) (Bristol Groundschool International Ltd) · 2.0/5 Rating - [*Catbus Student*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/catbus-student) (Cohota Join Stock Company) · 4.4/5 Rating - [*Chinese Tibetan Dictionary*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/chinese-tibetan-dictionary) (Lobsang Monlam16922404891) · 5.0/5 Rating | Excellent Sentiment - [*Insights to Behavior*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/insights-to-behavior) (Insights to Behavior) · N/A Rating - [*Legasthenie & LRS Trainer*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/legasthenie-lrs-trainer) (Matthias Aigner) · N/A Rating - [*Lyceum Leaf Parent*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/lyceum-leaf-parent) (Techcess Business Solutions (Pvt) Ltd) · N/A Rating - [*Money Matrix (CAD)*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/money-matrix-cad) (Blooming Kids Software LLC) · 5.0/5 Rating - [*myTibetan*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/mytibetan) (Yury Nevalenny) · 4.8/5 Rating | Excellent Sentiment - [*Quran Treasure Island for Kids*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/quran-treasure-island-for-kids) (Akeela Manekia) · 4.9/5 Rating ## Frequently Asked Questions {#faq} ### Is Ekanos suitable for individual aviation students?
