(Strategic Takeaway) {#so-what} ElfSounds - Music Player is an entertainment app that is free with in-app purchases. It holds a 4.39/5 rating from 79 reviews. > **Bottom Line:** ElfSounds rests on a legacy YouTube integration that is now technically stagnant, and the lack of updates over 74 months makes the current position highly vulnerable to OS-level deprecation. **Best for:** Casual music listeners seeking a centralized interface for YouTube-based audio and local radio streaming. ### PM Action Plan (Next Best Moves) - [ ] [MAINTAIN] Audit YouTube API compliance because the app has not been updated since 2020 → prevent potential store removal ### Outlook: Declining The music streaming market is consolidating around apps with frequent live-ops and high-fidelity UI updates, leaving ElfSounds exposed due to its total lack of development activity. The app's inability to refresh its core streaming logic will likely result in a steady decline in user retention as the interface becomes outdated and technically unstable. - 🔴 The 74-month development gap indicates the app is in maintenance mode, which will likely lead to functional breakage as iOS standards evolve. ## Key Metrics Summary | Metric | Value | | :--- | :--- | | Overall Rating | 4.39/5 | | Total Reviews | 79 | | Confidence | Low | | Pricing Model | Freemium | | Platforms | iOS | | Key Features | 3 analyzed | | Outlook | Declining | ## Competitor Comparison | App | Rating | Sentiment | Developer | | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | | **ElfSounds - Music Player** (this app) | 4.39/5 | N/A | Harris Technology Limited | | [JustPlay: Earn Money or Donate](https://marlvel.ai/apps/justplay-earn-money-or-donate) | 4.4/5 | n/a | JustPlay GmbH | | [BestPlay: Play Games & Earn](https://marlvel.ai/apps/bestplay-play-to-earn-donate) | 4.6/5 | n/a | Bestplay | | [BIBLIOTECA LDM](https://marlvel.ai/apps/biblioteca-ldm) | 4.8/5 | Mixed | Esteban Gonzalez | | [DramaBox - Stream Drama Shorts](https://marlvel.ai/apps/dramabox-stream-drama-shorts-1) | 4.7/5 | n/a | STORYMATRIX | | [DramaWave - Dramas & Reels](https://marlvel.ai/apps/dramawave-dramas-reels) | 4.7/5 | Mixed | SKYWORK AI PTE LTD | ## Company Profile - **Developer:** Harris Technology Limited - **Website:** [https://harris-tech.net](https://harris-tech.net) ## Data Sources & Links - **App Store ID:** 1505256474 - **Dev Site:** [Official Website](https://harris-tech.net) - **Sources:** Developer website content, App store metadata. ## Related Intel Reports - [*JustPlay: Earn Money or Donate*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/justplay-earn-money-or-donate) (JustPlay GmbH) · 4.4/5 Rating - [*BestPlay: Play Games & Earn*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/bestplay-play-to-earn-donate) (Bestplay) · 4.6/5 Rating - [*BIBLIOTECA LDM*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/biblioteca-ldm) (Esteban Gonzalez) · 4.8/5 Rating - [*DramaBox - Stream Drama Shorts*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/dramabox-stream-drama-shorts-1) (STORYMATRIX) · 4.7/5 Rating - [*DramaWave - Dramas & Reels*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/dramawave-dramas-reels) (SKYWORK AI PTE LTD) · 4.7/5 Rating - [*PACIFIC RIM: JAEGER VS KAIJU BATTLE*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/pacific-rim-jaeger-vs-kaiju-battle) (Warner Bros.) · 3.5/5 Rating - [*PLAYZONE - Play & Earn Rewards*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/money-well-earn-rewards) (Vanessa Calatayud Gomis) · 2.5/5 Rating - [*TikTok Pro - Events*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-ss-iphone-ugc-tiktok-pro) (TikTok Ltd.) · 4.7/5 Rating - [*TikTok - Videos, Shop & LIVE*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/tiktok-videos-shop-live) (TikTok Ltd.) · 4.3/5 Rating - [*YouTube TV*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-google-ios-youtubeunplugged) (Google) · 3.7/5 Rating ## Frequently Asked Questions {#faq} ### Is ElfSounds still receiving updates?
