(Strategic Takeaway) {#so-what} FM Tunes — Online radio player is a music app that is completely free. It holds a 5/5 rating from 1 review. > **Bottom Line:** FM Tunes is a legacy utility that has been abandoned for over six years, leaving it exposed to inevitable OS-level deprecation. The lack of development activity means the app cannot compete with modern streaming services, and sunsetting the project would remove the brand drag of an unmaintained product. **Best for:** Casual radio listeners seeking a simple, background-capable player for mobile devices. ### PM Action Plan (Next Best Moves) - [ ] [SUNSET] Sunset the product because the 76-month update gap indicates no remaining developer interest → eliminate brand drag ### Outlook: Declining The radio player market is consolidating around services that offer active live-ops and frequent feature updates. FM Tunes is effectively in a terminal state, and its lack of development activity ensures it will continue to lose relevance as modern iOS versions eventually break its core functionality. - 🔴 The 76-month update gap confirms a total lack of development, which will eventually lead to app failure during future iOS system updates. - 🔴 The absence of new features or performance patches prevents FM Tunes from competing with modern, actively updated radio and streaming applications. ## Key Metrics Summary | Metric | Value | | :--- | :--- | | Overall Rating | 5/5 | | Total Reviews | 1 | | Confidence | Low | | Pricing Model | Free | | Platforms | iOS | | Key Features | 3 analyzed | | Trend | Stable | | Outlook | Declining | ## Competitor Comparison | App | Rating | Sentiment | Developer | | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | | **FM Tunes — Online radio player** (this app) | 5/5 | N/A | Alexander Romanov | | [BandLab – Music Maker & Beats](https://marlvel.ai/apps/bandlab-music-maker-beats) | 4.8/5 | Excited | BandLab Singapore Pte Ltd | | [Suno - AI Songs, Music, Lyrics](https://marlvel.ai/apps/suno-ai-songs-music) | 4.0/5 | Mixed | Suno, Inc. | | [ヨルシカ](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-yorushika-sp) | 4.8/5 | N/A | Fanplus, Inc. | | [あいみょん](https://marlvel.ai/apps/net-aimyong-sp) | 4.5/5 | N/A | Fanplus, Inc. | | [イントリズム](https://marlvel.ai/apps/jp-rc-into-rhythm) | 3.5/5 | N/A | RedinC | ## Company Profile - **Developer:** Alexander Romanov ## Data Sources & Links - **App Store:** [View on Apple Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/fm-tunes-online-radio-player/id1498304700?uo=4) - **Sources:** App store metadata. ## Related Intel Reports - [*BandLab – Music Maker & Beats*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/bandlab-music-maker-beats) (BandLab Singapore Pte Ltd) · 4.8/5 Rating | Positive Sentiment - [*Suno - AI Songs, Music, Lyrics*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/suno-ai-songs-music) (Suno, Inc.) · 4.0/5 Rating - [*ヨルシカ*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-yorushika-sp) (Fanplus, Inc.) · 4.8/5 Rating - [*あいみょん*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/net-aimyong-sp) (Fanplus, Inc.) · 4.5/5 Rating - [*イントリズム*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/jp-rc-into-rhythm) (RedinC) · 3.5/5 Rating - [*クリープハイプ*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/creephyp-sp-browsingapp) (Fanplus, Inc.) · N/A Rating - [*マカロニえんぴつ*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-macaroniempitsu-fc) (Fanplus, Inc.) · 3.1/5 Rating - [*100.1 Jack FM*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/100-1-jack-fm) (NRG Media) · 1.0/5 Rating - [*100.1 WJRZ*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/100-1-wjrz) (Beasley Broadcast Group) · 4.8/5 Rating | Excellent Sentiment - [*100.3 The Wolf*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/100-3-the-wolf) (SummitMedia, LLC) · 4.1/5 Rating ## Frequently Asked Questions {#faq} ### Is FM Tunes still being updated?
