## The "So What?" (Strategic Takeaway) {#so-what}

Piti Piti Pa - Djembe Studio is a market-leading music app that is completely free.
With a 4.67/5 rating from 186 reviews, it delivers strong user satisfaction.

<!-- speakable-start -->
> **Bottom Line:** The lack of updates since 2019 leaves Piti Piti Pa vulnerable to OS-level instability that now outweighs its educational value, so restoring basic audio playback would stabilize the existing user base.
<!-- speakable-end -->

**Best for:** Percussionists ranging from beginners learning basic rhythms to masters practicing solo arrangements.

<!-- section:pm-actions -->
### PM Action Plan (Next Best Moves)

- [ ] [MAINTAIN] Audit audio playback logic because crashes occur on modern OS versions → restore core utility
<!-- /section:pm-actions -->

<!-- section:outlook -->
### Outlook: Declining

The percussion education market is shifting toward active, cloud-synced platforms, leaving Piti Piti Pa exposed due to its maintenance-mode status. Without a technical refresh, the app will continue to lose utility as OS updates break its core playback functionality.

- 🔴 The 2,757-day update gap causes audio playback failures, which erodes the daily active habit and drives negative sentiment.
