Its lack of updates for over 450 days signals a maintenance-only posture that limits its competitive reach against active map-utility rivals. ## Monetization Strategy - **Model:** Free - **Tiers:** Free - **Analysis:** The app is distributed as a free utility with no visible monetization or subscription gates. ## SWOT Analysis {#swot} **Core Strengths:** - Local-only data processing removes privacy barriers **Growth Levers:** - Recent-history list could improve user retention ## Recent Changes (v2 → v3) {#recent-changes} The app remains in a maintenance-only state with no functional updates since May 2025. (Strategic Takeaway) {#so-what} MyLocation: save & share is a navigation app that is completely free. It holds a 5/5 rating from 1 review. > **Bottom Line:** MyLocation: save & share serves a specific privacy-conscious segment, but the 15-month development gap leaves the app vulnerable to OS-level obsolescence. **Best for:** Travelers, hikers, and photographers requiring a simple, privacy-conscious tool to mark and share specific geographic points. ### PM Action Plan (Next Best Moves) - [ ] [MAINTAIN] Audit OS compatibility because the last update occurred 454 days ago → prevent crash-on-launch churn ### Outlook: Stable Users report: The navigation utility market is increasingly dominated by system-level features that reduce the need for third-party bookmarking tools. MyLocation: save & share remains stable for its current user base, but the lack of development activity means it will likely lose relevance as OS-level location sharing becomes more capable. - ⚪ The 15-month update silence indicates a maintenance-only posture, which limits the potential for future feature expansion or competitive growth. ## Key Metrics Summary | Metric | Value | | :--- | :--- | | Overall Rating | 5/5 | | Total Reviews | 1 | | Confidence | Low | | Pricing Model | Free | | Platforms | iOS | | Key Features | 3 analyzed | | Trend | Stable | | Outlook | Stable | ## Competitor Comparison | App | Rating | Sentiment | Developer | | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | | **MyLocation: save & share** (this app) | 5/5 | N/A | Josef Lischka | | [Google Maps](https://marlvel.ai/apps/google-maps) | 4.0/5 | Mixed | Google | | [전국 시외버스 승차권 통합 예매(버스타고)](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-ebcard-bustago) | 1.6/5 | N/A | EZL Corp. | | [손편지 - 내 손안에 편의점 지도](https://marlvel.ai/apps/app--288) | N/A/5 | N/A | GEONJU CHOI | | [탐나는맵](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-tamnann-tamnannmapapp) | 3.3/5 | N/A | hyunseo Jung | | [10-4 by WEX](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-wex-backoff) | 4.8/5 | N/A | WEX, Inc. | ## Company Profile - **Developer:** Josef Lischka ## Data Sources & Links - **App Store:** [View on Apple Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mylocation-save-share/id6746337695?uo=4) - **Sources:** App store metadata. ## Related Intel Reports - [*Google Maps*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/google-maps) (Google) · 4.0/5 Rating - [*전국 시외버스 승차권 통합 예매(버스타고)*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-ebcard-bustago) (EZL Corp.) · 1.6/5 Rating - [*손편지 - 내 손안에 편의점 지도*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/app--288) (GEONJU CHOI) · N/A Rating - [*탐나는맵*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-tamnann-tamnannmapapp) (hyunseo Jung) · 3.3/5 Rating - [*10-4 by WEX*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-wex-backoff) (WEX, Inc.) · 4.8/5 Rating - [*13:20:Sync*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-redhouseamsterdam-mayaapp) (The RedHouse Apps) · 4.9/5 Rating - [*23d GPS*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/23d-gps) (Shane Moore) · N/A Rating - [*360Finder - Real-time Locator*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/360finder-real-time-locator) (HONG KONG NOBLE LIMITED) · N/A Rating - [*3D Earth Map Street View*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-naikurrehman-globeapp) (Naik Ur Rehman) · 4.7/5 Rating - [*3D GIS Digital Elevation Model*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-ladesignes-3dgis) (Andres Narvaez) · 3.0/5 Rating ## Frequently Asked Questions {#faq} ### Is MyLocation: save & share safe for privacy?
