<!-- speakable-end -->

<!-- section:pm-actions -->
### PM Action Plan (Next Best Moves)

- [ ] [INVEST] Restore article timestamps because users report confusion regarding content freshness → increase daily return rate.
<!-- /section:pm-actions -->

<!-- section:outlook -->
### Outlook: Declining

Local news apps are consolidating around reliability and content transparency, yet FOX 17 West Michigan News remains in maintenance mode. Without addressing playback stability and content dating, the app will continue to lose share to more responsive regional competitors.

- 🔴 Technical instability (unresponsiveness, playback errors) disrupts the daily news habit, which compounds the rating drag already visible on Android.
- 🔴 The removal of article timestamps in the latest update confuses users regarding content freshness, accelerating churn pressure into the next quarter.
