It holds a 4.43/5 rating from 14 reviews. > **Bottom Line:** vNote is a legacy utility that has reached the end of its lifecycle, as the 3,196-day update gap renders it a technical liability. Sunset the app to prevent further brand erosion, as the current state cannot be salvaged without a full rebuild. **Best for:** Users seeking a minimalist, single-screen note-taking tool without the complexity of labels, dates, or alarms. ### PM Action Plan (Next Best Moves) - [ ] [SUNSET] Sunset the app because the 3,196-day update gap makes maintenance unviable → stop brand erosion ### Outlook: Declining The productivity market has moved toward cross-platform, cloud-synced note tools, leaving vNote's local-only, static architecture behind. The lack of updates for over eight years confirms that the app is no longer a viable product, and users should expect eventual obsolescence. - 🔴 The 3,196-day update gap indicates the app is in maintenance mode, which will eventually lead to total functional failure as iOS evolves. ## Key Metrics Summary | Metric | Value | | :--- | :--- | | Overall Rating | 4.43/5 | | Total Reviews | 14 | | Confidence | Low | | Pricing Model | Free | | Platforms | iOS | | Key Features | 3 analyzed | | Trend | Stable | | Outlook | Declining | ## Competitor Comparison | App | Rating | Sentiment | Developer | | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | | **vNote - Visual Note** (this app) | 4.43/5 | N/A | Nicola Canali | | [Mitsu: AI Life Coach](https://marlvel.ai/apps/mitsu-ai-life-coach) | N/A/5 | N/A | C2 Insights | | [ChatGPT](https://marlvel.ai/apps/chatgpt) | 4.8/5 | n/a | OpenAI OpCo, LLC | | [HitWave](https://marlvel.ai/apps/ciendor-applications-hitwave) | 2.6/5 | Mixed | Ciendor Holdings Corp.
