(Strategic Takeaway) {#so-what} AnemoTracker is a sports app that is completely free. With a 1.94/5 rating from 138 reviews, it faces significant user friction. > **Bottom Line:** AnemoTracker must prioritize core stability to prevent the software from devaluing the underlying hardware, as the current crash-on-launch behavior is the primary barrier to user retention. **Best for:** Professionals and hobbyists in sailing, ballistics, agriculture, and outdoor sports requiring precise, real-time wind measurement. ### PM Action Plan (Next Best Moves) - [ ] [INVEST] Rebuild Bluetooth pairing logic because connectivity failures are the top complaint → restore hardware utility ### Outlook: Declining The market for hardware-linked utilities is increasingly intolerant of software instability, as users expect the app to act as a reliable bridge to their sensors. AnemoTracker remains exposed to churn as long as the current crash-on-launch behavior persists, which directly undermines the value of the Calypso Instruments hardware ecosystem. - 🔴 Frequent application crashes during startup render the hardware unusable, which compounds the frustration of users who purchased the sensor for professional work. - 🔴 Bluetooth connectivity failures prevent the app from maintaining a link to the hardware, leading to high churn among field-based users. ## Key Metrics Summary | Metric | Value | | :--- | :--- | | Overall Rating | 1.94/5 | | Total Reviews | 138 | | Sentiment | Upset (15/100) | | Confidence | High | | Pricing Model | Free | | Platforms | iOS & Android | | Key Features | 3 analyzed | | Outlook | Declining | ## Competitor Comparison | App | Rating | Sentiment | Developer | | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | | **AnemoTracker** (this app) | 1.94/5 | Upset | Calypso Instruments | | [BeSoccer: Soccer Live Score](https://marlvel.ai/apps/besoccer-soccer-live-score-1) | 4.5/5 | Excited | BeSoccer apps | | [BeSoccer: Soccer Live Score](https://marlvel.ai/apps/besoccer-soccer-live-score) | 4.5/5 | Mixed | BESOCCER | | [Football Playbook Animator](https://marlvel.ai/apps/football-playbook-animator) | 4.6/5 | N/A | BJT Software LLC | | [Football Play Designer](https://marlvel.ai/apps/football-play-designer) | 4.1/5 | N/A | greg brady | | [PlayYourCourt - Play Tennis](https://marlvel.ai/apps/playyourcourt-play-tennis) | 3.7/5 | n/a | Play Your Court LLC | ## Company Profile - **Developer:** Calypso Instruments - **Website:** [https://calypsoinstruments.com](https://calypsoinstruments.com) ## Data Sources & Links - **App Store ID:** 928168290 - **Google Play ID:** com.calypsoinstruments.anemotracker - **Dev Site:** [Official Website](https://calypsoinstruments.com) - **Sources:** Developer website content, About us / company information, App store metadata, User reviews. ## Related Intel Reports - [*BeSoccer: Soccer Live Score*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/besoccer-soccer-live-score-1) (BeSoccer apps) · 4.5/5 Rating | Positive Sentiment - [*BeSoccer: Soccer Live Score*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/besoccer-soccer-live-score) (BESOCCER) · 4.5/5 Rating - [*Football Playbook Animator*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/football-playbook-animator) (BJT Software LLC) · 4.6/5 Rating - [*Football Play Designer*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/football-play-designer) (greg brady) · 4.1/5 Rating - [*PlayYourCourt - Play Tennis*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/playyourcourt-play-tennis) (Play Your Court LLC) · 3.7/5 Rating - [*QZ Fitness*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/qz-qdomyos-zwift) (Roberto Viola) · 4.8/5 Rating | Excellent Sentiment - [*THE PADELIST*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/the-padelist) (THE PADELIST) · 3.7/5 Rating - [*플레이공*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-tychesoft-playball) (Tychesoft) · N/A Rating - [*더블이글 - 요즘 골프예약*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-albatrss-de) (Double Eagle Inc.) · 4.0/5 Rating - [*테니스타운*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-momzit-tennistown) (link.tennistown) · 3.5/5 Rating ## Frequently Asked Questions {#faq} ### Is AnemoTracker compatible with all wind sensors?
