It holds a 4/5 rating from 2 reviews. > **Bottom Line:** Basketball Playview functions as a legacy utility for an established desktop user base, but the lack of development activity since 2017 creates a significant continuity risk for coaches relying on it for daily practice management. **Best for:** Basketball coaches and players who use Jes-soft desktop software to create and manage practice plans. ### PM Action Plan (Next Best Moves) - [ ] [MAINTAIN] Audit iOS compatibility because the last update occurred in 2017 → prevent sudden app failure ### Outlook: Declining The sports coaching market is shifting toward mobile-native platforms that combine creation and viewing in a single interface. Basketball Playview remains exposed due to its reliance on a legacy desktop program, which limits its utility for coaches who prefer modern, cloud-first workflows. - 🔴 The nine-year development hiatus suggests the app is in permanent maintenance mode, which will eventually lead to breakage on newer iOS versions. ## Key Metrics Summary | Metric | Value | | :--- | :--- | | Overall Rating | 4/5 | | Total Reviews | 2 | | Confidence | Low | | Pricing Model | Free | | Platforms | iOS | | Key Features | 3 analyzed | | Outlook | Declining | ## Competitor Comparison | App | Rating | Sentiment | Developer | | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | | **Basketball Playview** (this app) | 4/5 | N/A | Erik Smit | | [플레이공](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-tychesoft-playball) | N/A/5 | N/A | Tychesoft | | [더블이글 - 요즘 골프예약](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-albatrss-de) | 4.0/5 | N/A | Double Eagle Inc. | | [테니스타운](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-momzit-tennistown) | 3.5/5 | N/A | link.tennistown | | [イッツゴーン！ボイス](https://marlvel.ai/apps/jp-co-gaora-itsgone) | N/A/5 | N/A | GAORA Inc. | | [トニーくんのビッグバンサーブ](https://marlvel.ai/apps/jp-hase-volley4) | 4.0/5 | N/A | hasegawa takuji | ## Company Profile - **Developer:** Erik Smit ## Data Sources & Links - **App Store:** [View on Apple Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/basketball-playview/id1064069279?uo=4) - **Sources:** App store metadata. ## Related Intel Reports - [*플레이공*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-tychesoft-playball) (Tychesoft) · N/A Rating - [*더블이글 - 요즘 골프예약*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-albatrss-de) (Double Eagle Inc.) · 4.0/5 Rating - [*테니스타운*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-momzit-tennistown) (link.tennistown) · 3.5/5 Rating - [*イッツゴーン！ボイス*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/jp-co-gaora-itsgone) (GAORA Inc.) · N/A Rating - [*トニーくんのビッグバンサーブ*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/jp-hase-volley4) (hasegawa takuji) · 4.0/5 Rating - [*00:36*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/00-36) (Adriaan de Jongh) · N/A Rating - [*하루 1루*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/randori-onebaseaday) (hyunseo kim) · 5.0/5 Rating - [*10,000 Shots*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/10-000-shots) (Jeremy Rupke) · 4.8/5 Rating - [*100 Climbs of Italy*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/100-climbs-of-italy) (100 Climbs limited) · N/A Rating - [*100 Climbs of Spain*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/100-climbs-of-spain) (100 Climbs limited) · N/A Rating ## Frequently Asked Questions {#faq} ### Is Basketball Playview a standalone app for creating plays?
