With a 3.69/5 rating from 26 reviews, it shows mixed user reception. > **Bottom Line:** The app's failure to update since 2015 has rendered its primary asset, the video library, inaccessible due to playback bugs. A pivot to a maintenance-focused release cycle is required to restore basic utility before any new content or monetization can be considered. **Best for:** Golfers of all skill levels seeking to improve swing mechanics and reduce handicap through structured video instruction. ### PM Action Plan (Next Best Moves) - [ ] [PIVOT] Audit playback engine because users report video failures post-update → restore core utility ### Outlook: Declining The sports instructional market has shifted toward real-time, AI-driven swing analysis, leaving static video libraries like Golf Swing Coach at a disadvantage. Without a technical refresh to address playback and orientation bugs, the app will continue to lose relevance to modern, actively maintained competitors. - 🔴 The 11-year development gap results in broken playback, which erodes user trust and prevents the app from serving its core instructional purpose. ## Key Metrics Summary | Metric | Value | | :--- | :--- | | Overall Rating | 3.69/5 | | Total Reviews | 26 | | Sentiment | Mixed (45/100) | | Confidence | Medium | | Pricing Model | Free | | Platforms | iOS | | Key Features | 3 analyzed | | Trend | Stable | | Outlook | Declining | ## Competitor Comparison | App | Rating | Sentiment | Developer | | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | | **Golf Swing Coach** (this app) | 3.69/5 | Mixed | App And Away Studios LLP | | [DraftKings Predictions](https://marlvel.ai/apps/draftkings-predictions) | 4.8/5 | Mixed | DraftKings | | [DraftKings: Sports & Casino](https://marlvel.ai/apps/draftkings-sportsbook-casino) | 4.8/5 | n/a | DraftKings | | [FanDuel Predicts](https://marlvel.ai/apps/fanduel-predicts) | 4.8/5 | n/a | FanDuel, Inc. | | [NBA: Live Games & Scores](https://marlvel.ai/apps/nba-live-games-scores) | 4.5/5 | n/a | NBA MEDIA VENTURES, LLC | | [PrizePicks - Sports Picks](https://marlvel.ai/apps/prizepicks-sports-picks) | 4.5/5 | n/a | SidePrize, LLC | ## Company Profile - **Developer:** App And Away Studios LLP ## Data Sources & Links - **App Store:** [View on Apple Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/golf-swing-coach/id537454924?uo=4) - **Sources:** App store metadata, User reviews. ## Related Intel Reports - [*DraftKings Predictions*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/draftkings-predictions) (DraftKings) · 4.8/5 Rating - [*DraftKings: Sports & Casino*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/draftkings-sportsbook-casino) (DraftKings) · 4.8/5 Rating - [*FanDuel Predicts*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/fanduel-predicts) (FanDuel, Inc.) · 4.8/5 Rating - [*NBA: Live Games & Scores*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/nba-live-games-scores) (NBA MEDIA VENTURES, LLC) · 4.5/5 Rating - [*PrizePicks - Sports Picks*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/prizepicks-sports-picks) (SidePrize, LLC) · 4.5/5 Rating - [*Sporttrade: Prediction Markets*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/sporttrade-prediction-markets) (SPORTTRADE INC) · 4.7/5 Rating | Positive Sentiment - [*플레이공*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-tychesoft-playball) (Tychesoft) · N/A Rating - [*더블이글 - 요즘 골프예약*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-albatrss-de) (Double Eagle Inc.) · 4.0/5 Rating - [*테니스타운*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-momzit-tennistown) (link.tennistown) · 3.5/5 Rating - [*イッツゴーン！ボイス*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/jp-co-gaora-itsgone) (GAORA Inc.) · N/A Rating ## Frequently Asked Questions {#faq} ### Is Golf Swing Coach still effective for beginners in 2026?
