The lack of updates for 355 days suggests a stable but stagnant market position relative to active competitors. ## Monetization Strategy - **Model:** Free - **Tiers:** Fully free access to all features - **Analysis:** The app operates as a free utility with no ads, relying on community trust and brand positioning within the skydiving market. ## 🟢 User Sentiment (Medium Confidence: 6 of 6 reviews analyzed) {#user-sentiment} - **Overall Rating:** 5/5 - **Platform Split:** iOS 5.0/5 (8 ratings) - **Overall Sentiment:** Thrilled ### Top Praises - **The comprehensive digital logbook provides a reliable way for skydivers to track jumps and tunnel sessions** - **Maintaining a free model for the skydiving community fosters strong user appreciation and long-term loyalty** ### Top Complaints (Impact Areas) - **Default discipline choices are too restrictive for users who participate in specialized or non-standard skydiving activities** ## SWOT Analysis {#swot} **Core Strengths:** - USPA SIM-compliant logging creates high switching costs for certified skydivers - Cloud-based storage ensures jump history persists across device migrations **Growth Levers:** - Configurable autofill fields would reduce manual entry time for frequent users - Flexible discipline menus would capture specialized activity segments currently underserved ## What's New - **Latest (v2.2.0, 11 months ago):** Introduced a Skydiving Unit Converter for altitude, canopy size, weight, speed, and gear measurements. ## App Momentum (Zombie) {#momentum} - Last major release Sep 2025. - Quiet 11 months, bug fixes only. > **Cadence:** 1 total versions · 1 majors in last 6 months · 355 days since last update ## The "So What?" (Strategic Takeaway) {#so-what} Squifly: Skydive Logbook is a market-leading sports app that is completely free. With a 5/5 rating from 8 reviews, it delivers strong user satisfaction. > **Bottom Line:** The app's USPA compliance and ad-free model retain core users, but the 11-month development silence risks losing the segment to more active rivals. Refreshing the discipline menu and autofill logic would unlock higher engagement without requiring a complete platform overhaul. **Best for:** Skydivers and indoor tunnel flyers requiring USPA-compliant digital logbooks and pre-jump planning tools. ### PM Action Plan (Next Best Moves) - [ ] [INVEST] Ship configurable autofill fields because users report manual entry is the primary friction point → increase daily log frequency ### Outlook: Stable The skydiving utility market remains niche, but Squifly's current maintenance-only cadence leaves it vulnerable to any competitor that introduces a modern, frequently updated interface. Resuming development to address discipline flexibility is necessary to prevent the user base from migrating to more responsive alternatives. - 🔴 The 355-day update gap suggests the app is in maintenance mode, which erodes user trust in long-term data reliability. - 🟢 High user satisfaction with the core logging utility provides a stable foundation for future feature expansion if development resumes. ## Key Metrics Summary | Metric | Value | | :--- | :--- | | Overall Rating | 5/5 | | Total Reviews | 8 | | Sentiment | Thrilled (90/100) | | Confidence | Medium | | Pricing Model | Free | | Platforms | iOS & Android | | Key Features | 3 analyzed | | Outlook | Stable | ## Competitor Comparison | App | Rating | Sentiment | Developer | | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | | **Squifly: Skydive Logbook** (this app) | 5/5 | Thrilled | 4vor4 UG | | [DraftKings Predictions](https://marlvel.ai/apps/draftkings-predictions) | 4.8/5 | Mixed | DraftKings | | [DraftKings: Sports & Casino](https://marlvel.ai/apps/draftkings-sportsbook-casino) | 4.8/5 | n/a | DraftKings | | [FanDuel Predicts](https://marlvel.ai/apps/fanduel-predicts) | 4.8/5 | n/a | FanDuel, Inc. | | [Fish AI - AI Fishing App](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-fishai-app) | 4.7/5 | n/a | GymBros Inc. | | [NBA: Live Games & Scores](https://marlvel.ai/apps/nba-live-games-scores) | 4.6/5 | Mixed | NBA MEDIA VENTURES, LLC | ## Company Profile - **Developer:** 4vor4 UG - **Website:** [https://www.squifly.com](https://www.squifly.com) - **Social:** [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/squiflyapp) · [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/squifly) · [X/Twitter](https://twitter.com/squiflyapp) · [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/playlist) ## Data Sources & Links - **App Store ID:** 1546718266 - **Google Play ID:** com.hornygorilla.skyhook - **Dev Site:** [Official Website](https://www.squifly.com) - **Sources:** Developer website content, App store metadata, User reviews. ## Related Intel Reports - [*DraftKings Predictions*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/draftkings-predictions) (DraftKings) · 4.8/5 Rating - [*DraftKings: Sports & Casino*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/draftkings-sportsbook-casino) (DraftKings) · 4.8/5 Rating - [*FanDuel Predicts*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/fanduel-predicts) (FanDuel, Inc.) · 4.8/5 Rating - [*Fish AI - AI Fishing App*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-fishai-app) (GymBros Inc.) · 4.7/5 Rating - [*NBA: Live Games & Scores*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/nba-live-games-scores) (NBA MEDIA VENTURES, LLC) · 4.6/5 Rating - [*PrizePicks - Sports Picks*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/prizepicks-sports-picks) (SidePrize, LLC) · 4.5/5 Rating - [*Sporttrade: Prediction Markets*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/sporttrade-prediction-markets) (SPORTTRADE INC) · 4.7/5 Rating | Positive Sentiment - [*플레이공*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-tychesoft-playball) (Tychesoft) · N/A Rating - [*더블이글 - 요즘 골프예약*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-albatrss-de) (Double Eagle Inc.) · 4.0/5 Rating - [*테니스타운*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-momzit-tennistown) (link.tennistown) · 3.5/5 Rating ## Frequently Asked Questions {#faq} ### Is Squifly suitable for USPA certification logging?
