(Strategic Takeaway) {#so-what} EdgeVPN – Fast VPN & Proxy is a market-leading utilities app. With a 4.69/5 rating from 2.4M reviews, it delivers strong user satisfaction. > **Bottom Line:** Implementing a persistent connection mode would resolve the primary functional friction point for power users, securing the retention of the user base currently frustrated by network-switching drops. **Best for:** Privacy-conscious users and remote workers requiring reliable access to restricted networks or secure connections for gaming and streaming. ### PM Action Plan (Next Best Moves) - [ ] [INVEST] Ship persistent connection mode because connection drops during network switching are the #1 functional friction point → reduce churn. ### Outlook: Mixed The VPN market is consolidating around multi-protocol solutions that offer higher reliability in restrictive regions. EdgeVPN is currently advantaged by its triple-protocol stack, but the lack of stability during network transitions leaves it exposed to rivals that offer more seamless session persistence. - 🟢 Reliable free tier speeds and low ad density sustain high user sentiment, which provides a stable foundation for premium conversion. - 🔴 Persistent connection drops during network switching erode the daily active habit, which compounds the rating drag already visible on Android. ## Key Metrics Summary | Metric | Value | | :--- | :--- | | Overall Rating | 4.69/5 | | Total Reviews | 2.4M | | Sentiment | Thrilled (85/100) | | Confidence | High | | Pricing Model | Subscription | | Platforms | iOS & Android | | Key Features | 3 analyzed | | Outlook | Mixed | ## Competitor Comparison | App | Rating | Sentiment | Developer | | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | | **EdgeVPN – Fast VPN & Proxy** (this app) | 4.69/5 | Thrilled | FastTec B.V | | [Sota Connect: Secure Network](https://marlvel.ai/apps/fi-catconnect-sota) | 4.8/5 | N/A | Cat Connect | | [V2Box - V2ray Client](https://marlvel.ai/apps/v2box-v2ray-client) | 4.6/5 | n/a | techlaim | | [App For Siri Commands Tips](https://marlvel.ai/apps/app-for-siri-commands-tips) | N/A/5 | N/A | Anh La Phan Son | | [avoVPN Desktop](https://marlvel.ai/apps/avovpn-desktop) | N/A/5 | N/A | Avocado VPN Technologies | | [Bin Days - Bin Reminder](https://marlvel.ai/apps/bin-days-bin-reminder) | N/A/5 | N/A | Vicki Partridge | ## Company Profile - **Developer:** FastTec B.V - **Website:** [https://edgevpn.tech/](https://edgevpn.tech/) ## Data Sources & Links - **App Store:** [View on Apple Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/edgevpn-fast-vpn-proxy/id6448475881?uo=4) - **Google Play:** [View on Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fast.free.unblock.secure.vpn) - **Dev Site:** [Official Website](https://edgevpn.tech/) - **Sources:** Developer website content, About us / company information, App store metadata, User reviews. ## Related Intel Reports - [*Sota Connect: Secure Network*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/fi-catconnect-sota) (Cat Connect) · 4.8/5 Rating - [*V2Box - V2ray Client*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/v2box-v2ray-client) (techlaim) · 4.6/5 Rating - [*App For Siri Commands Tips*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/app-for-siri-commands-tips) (Anh La Phan Son) · N/A Rating - [*avoVPN Desktop*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/avovpn-desktop) (Avocado VPN Technologies) · N/A Rating - [*Bin Days - Bin Reminder*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/bin-days-bin-reminder) (Vicki Partridge) · N/A Rating - [*Fusvob VPN : Super VPN 2026*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-toplinkc-foxexcellent) (Fuxin Technology) · 4.5/5 Rating - [*Gear Ratio Calculator & RPM*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/cog-gear-ratio-calculator) (Linh Phan Nhat Khanh) · N/A Rating - [*NordVPN: VPN Fast & Secure*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-nordvpn-nordvpn) (Nordvpn S.A.) · 4.7/5 Rating - [*Pick and Pull: Junkyard Finder*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/pick-and-pull-junkyard-finder) (Vladimir Kostadinov Stoyanov) · 3.7/5 Rating - [*Pulley Calculator Easy*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/pulley-calculator-easy) (YAVUZ BULAMADIK) · N/A Rating ## Frequently Asked Questions {#faq} ### Is EdgeVPN free to use?
