(Strategic Takeaway) {#so-what} Email Wizard is an utilities app that is a paid app. > **Bottom Line:** Email Wizard provides a reliable technical handshake, but its lack of development leaves it vulnerable to evolving provider security standards. Transitioning to modern authentication would unlock continued utility for users managing custom domains. **Best for:** Home users, professionals managing custom domains, and developers troubleshooting outgoing mail settings. ### PM Action Plan (Next Best Moves) - [ ] [INVEST] Ship OAuth2 authentication support because legacy password requirements are increasingly deprecated by major providers → maintain utility relevance ### Outlook: Declining Users report: The market for standalone SMTP configuration tools is consolidating as native mail clients improve their own setup wizards. Email Wizard's current maintenance-only cadence leaves it exposed to security deprecations, which will likely force a pivot or sunset within the next two quarters. - 🔴 The nine-month development gap indicates a maintenance-only posture, which prevents the app from adapting to modern security standards. - ⚪ Native mail client setup improvements continue to shrink the addressable market for standalone SMTP configuration tools. ## Key Metrics Summary | Metric | Value | | :--- | :--- | | Total Reviews | 0 | | Confidence | Low | | Pricing Model | Paid | | Platforms | iOS | | Key Features | 3 analyzed | | Outlook | Declining | ## Competitor Comparison | App | Rating | Sentiment | Developer | | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | | **Email Wizard** (this app) | N/A/5 | N/A | Nic Kolbe | | [Sota Connect: Secure Network](https://marlvel.ai/apps/fi-catconnect-sota) | 4.8/5 | N/A | Cat Connect | | [V2Box - V2ray Client](https://marlvel.ai/apps/v2box-v2ray-client) | 4.6/5 | n/a | techlaim | | [avoVPN Desktop](https://marlvel.ai/apps/avovpn-desktop) | N/A/5 | N/A | Avocado VPN Technologies | | [Fusvob VPN : Super VPN 2026](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-toplinkc-foxexcellent) | 4.5/5 | Mixed | Fuxin Technology | | [Gear Ratio Calculator & RPM](https://marlvel.ai/apps/cog-gear-ratio-calculator) | N/A/5 | N/A | Linh Phan Nhat Khanh | ## Company Profile - **Developer:** Nic Kolbe - **Website:** [https://www.nic-kolbe.com/app/emailwizard/](https://www.nic-kolbe.com/app/emailwizard/) ## Data Sources & Links - **App Store:** [View on Apple Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/email-wizard/id6755389860?uo=4) - **Dev Site:** [Official Website](https://www.nic-kolbe.com/app/emailwizard/) - **Sources:** Developer website content, App store metadata. ## Related Intel Reports - [*Sota Connect: Secure Network*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/fi-catconnect-sota) (Cat Connect) · 4.8/5 Rating - [*V2Box - V2ray Client*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/v2box-v2ray-client) (techlaim) · 4.6/5 Rating - [*avoVPN Desktop*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/avovpn-desktop) (Avocado VPN Technologies) · N/A Rating - [*Fusvob VPN : Super VPN 2026*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-toplinkc-foxexcellent) (Fuxin Technology) · 4.5/5 Rating - [*Gear Ratio Calculator & RPM*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/cog-gear-ratio-calculator) (Linh Phan Nhat Khanh) · N/A Rating - [*NordVPN: VPN Fast & Secure*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-nordvpn-nordvpn) (Nordvpn S.A.) · 4.7/5 Rating - [*Pulley Calculator Easy*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/pulley-calculator-easy) (YAVUZ BULAMADIK) · N/A Rating - [*VPN 365-Master WIFI Security*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/vpn-365-master-wifi-security) (vpn fast) · 4.6/5 Rating - [*VPN - Seal VPN Secure Proxy*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/vpn-seal-vpn-secure-proxy) (Starpass VPN Free) · 4.6/5 Rating | Positive Sentiment - [*카톡 분석 - 오픈채팅, 카톡 채팅 분석, 통계, 검색*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-liger-katalkanalysispaid) (Park Sung Cheol) · N/A Rating ## Frequently Asked Questions {#faq} ### Is Email Wizard safe to use for my email credentials?
