The lack of development activity over the last decade positions it as a niche tool rather than a competitive modern keyboard solution. ## Monetization Strategy - **Model:** Freemium - **Tiers:** Lite version: Old Slavonic keyboard (free), Premium version: Additional languages (paid) - **Analysis:** The freemium model gates language expansion behind a premium purchase, using the Lite version as a functional demonstration. ## SWOT Analysis {#swot} **Core Strengths:** - System-level integration replaces default keyboard layouts **Growth Levers:** - Unlocking premium languages could drive conversion ## What's New - **Latest (v1.2.1, 10 years ago):** Addressed iOS 9 instability and application crashes. ## App Momentum (Zombie) {#momentum} - No major updates since 2016. - Maintenance-mode status for over 3,800 days. > **Cadence:** 1 total versions · 0 majors in last 6 months · 3871 days since last update ## The "So What?" (Strategic Takeaway) {#so-what} Translit Keyboard Lite is an utilities app that is free with in-app purchases. It holds a 3/5 rating from 1 review. > **Bottom Line:** Translit Keyboard Lite is a legacy utility that has been effectively abandoned, and its lack of modern support makes it a poor choice for current users who require reliable input tools. **Best for:** Multilingual users who prefer typing on English QWERTY layouts but need to output text in Cyrillic or other specific alphabets. ### PM Action Plan (Next Best Moves) - [ ] [SUNSET] Sunset the app because the decade-long maintenance gap creates unmanageable compatibility risk → eliminate brand drag ### Outlook: Declining The market for third-party keyboards is consolidating around apps with rapid feature cycles and deep OS integration. Translit Keyboard Lite is effectively a zombie product, and its continued presence in the store risks user frustration as iOS evolves beyond its capabilities. - 🔴 The 3,800-day update gap indicates the app is in a permanent maintenance state, which will eventually lead to total functional failure on future iOS versions. ## Key Metrics Summary | Metric | Value | | :--- | :--- | | Overall Rating | 3/5 | | Total Reviews | 1 | | Confidence | Low | | Pricing Model | Freemium | | Platforms | iOS | | Key Features | 2 analyzed | | Outlook | Declining | ## Competitor Comparison | App | Rating | Sentiment | Developer | | :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- | | **Translit Keyboard Lite** (this app) | 3/5 | N/A | Alexei Baboulevitch | | [Sota Connect: Secure Network](https://marlvel.ai/apps/fi-catconnect-sota) | 4.8/5 | N/A | Cat Connect | | [V2Box - V2ray Client](https://marlvel.ai/apps/v2box-v2ray-client) | 4.6/5 | n/a | techlaim | | [avoVPN Desktop](https://marlvel.ai/apps/avovpn-desktop) | N/A/5 | N/A | Avocado VPN Technologies | | [Fusvob VPN : Super VPN 2026](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-toplinkc-foxexcellent) | 4.5/5 | Mixed | Fuxin Technology | | [Gear Ratio Calculator & RPM](https://marlvel.ai/apps/cog-gear-ratio-calculator) | N/A/5 | N/A | Linh Phan Nhat Khanh | ## Company Profile - **Developer:** Alexei Baboulevitch - **Website:** [https://translit-keyboard.archagon.net](https://translit-keyboard.archagon.net) ## Data Sources & Links - **App Store ID:** 931305272 - **Dev Site:** [Official Website](https://translit-keyboard.archagon.net) - **Sources:** Developer website content, App store metadata. ## Related Intel Reports - [*Sota Connect: Secure Network*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/fi-catconnect-sota) (Cat Connect) · 4.8/5 Rating - [*V2Box - V2ray Client*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/v2box-v2ray-client) (techlaim) · 4.6/5 Rating - [*avoVPN Desktop*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/avovpn-desktop) (Avocado VPN Technologies) · N/A Rating - [*Fusvob VPN : Super VPN 2026*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-toplinkc-foxexcellent) (Fuxin Technology) · 4.5/5 Rating - [*Gear Ratio Calculator & RPM*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/cog-gear-ratio-calculator) (Linh Phan Nhat Khanh) · N/A Rating - [*NordVPN: VPN Fast & Secure*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/com-nordvpn-nordvpn) (Nordvpn S.A.) · 4.7/5 Rating - [*Pulley Calculator Easy*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/pulley-calculator-easy) (YAVUZ BULAMADIK) · N/A Rating - [*Track And Field Companion*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/track-and-field-companion) (Travis Menghini) · N/A Rating - [*VPN 365-Master WIFI Security*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/vpn-365-master-wifi-security) (vpn fast) · 4.6/5 Rating - [*VPN - Seal VPN Secure Proxy*](https://marlvel.ai/apps/vpn-seal-vpn-secure-proxy) (Starpass VPN Free) · 4.6/5 Rating | Positive Sentiment ## Frequently Asked Questions {#faq} ### Is Translit Keyboard Lite still supported?
