“Recent user voice shows a thrilled sentiment. Users appreciate addictive and relaxing gameplay and cute art style and animal theme, but report lack of management depth and slow pacing and shop mechanics.”
What Users Love
I play this game every evening to unwind and it is relaxing and fun.
Figuring out where all the animals should be for combos is a fun, frustrating and ultimately rewarding brain teaser.
This particular game is super cute with all of the animals. The baby animals are absolutely adorable.
Awesome cute little pixel game
Kairosoft hardly misses on their games. This is one that I really enjoyed
I don’t think there has been a kairosoft game I haven’t enjoyed but this one is definitely in my top 3!
Pain Points
Enjoyable, but not quite the difficulty level I’ve come to expect from Kairosoft games.
Boring. Very childish. This may be a good starter into the Kairosoft world for a child under 10. Zero depth.
You spend a lot of time bored because their real “shop” only opens once a year.
You can only purchase buildings once a year, leading to a very sparsely decorated park for a long time
Increasing animal cage size doesn’t seem to work beyond 2 squares.
Some of the animals like to leave their zones and jump into another... unable to move them back to where I want them

What are the pros and cons?
Pros
- Exceptionally strong brand loyalty and trust in the 'Kairosoft' name.
- Unique, highly differentiated mechanics like 'negotiation battles' for animal acquisition.
- Charming, nostalgic pixel-art aesthetic that resonates well with the target audience.
- Premium, ad-free monetization model that guarantees a clean user experience.
Cons
- Pacing bottlenecks, specifically the in-game shop only opening once an in-game year.
- UX friction regarding animal enclosure expansion and moving animals between zones.
- Perceived lack of late-game management depth for veteran tycoon players.
What is the market outlook?
Growth Opportunities
- Competitors could exploit the slow pacing by offering more dynamic, constantly engaging event loops.
- Opportunity to release a 'hardcore' mode or advanced management DLC to satisfy veteran players seeking depth.
- Potential to improve UI/UX for enclosure management, which would immediately boost player retention.
Market Threats
- Direct competition from established pixel-art management games like Disco Zoo.
- The broader market shift towards freemium/idle games (e.g., Idle Dinosaur Park Tycoon) that lower the barrier to entry.
- High expectations from the existing fanbase; failing to innovate beyond the standard Kairosoft formula risks brand fatigue.
