What Is GLP-1 Tracker: Pep?

GLP-1 Tracker: Pep is a specialized health management application designed to support individuals undergoing weight loss treatments, specifically those using GLP-1 medications. By centralizing medication schedules, injection site rotation, and nutrition tracking, the app positions itself as an essential "all-in-one" companion for patients. Targeted at users who require high-touch adherence support, the app occupies a niche within the Medical category. Its primary value proposition lies in its ability to reduce the "mental load" of chronic medication management. While the app has successfully built a loyal user base, its growth is currently challenged by technical stability issues and aggressive billing practices that have negatively impacted user sentiment.

What Users Love

Comprehensive Tracking

It tracks shots, weight, measurements, progress. Everything all in one place!

I love that you can track your injections, side effects, weight, measurements and progress photos.

Ease of Use

It’s user-friendly, intuitive, and makes tracking my GLP-1 journey so simple.

Easy to navigate and has great features!

Pain Points

Subscription and Billing Issues

Deducting payment even though the free trial is not yet finished.

Offered a month trial for $4.99 at sign up but same day was immediately charged for the full year membership.

Food Logging Inaccuracies

The food scanner does not work at all. Taking a photo works partially so it is better than nothing but not completely accurate.

I do NOT recommend using the AI photo meal estimate, as the calories can be way off.

Data Loss and Technical Bugs

My app went missing. I re-downloaded it and my data was all lost.

Updated the app on 7/6 and now does not work. Opens then closed immediately. I’ve apparently lost my 6 months of data.
