“Recent user voice shows a excited sentiment. Users appreciate design and user experience and performance and reliability, but report subscription model and syncing and data conflicts.”
What Users Love
The app is clean, easy to use, and yet so very powerful!
Bear focuses on simplicity—its design eliminates clutters and distractions
Bear is conveniently fast, efficient, syncs seamlessly across all devices
Bear is so much faster than Evernote—starting up, syncing—oh my gosh!
Pain Points
What I *hate* is that the only “Pro” option (which blocks access to iCloud syncing) is a subscription.
I'm not paying for a subscription my entire life for the SIMPLE NEED of seeing my notes on all devices
The largest issue that caused me to cancel... is the cloud sync.
Bear v2 and v1 do not sync. Bear now won't work at all on my imac
