Original release notes
Improved AM Broadcast band reception with new AM-Wide and AM-Extra-Wide modes. If connected to a Kiwi server that supports extra-wide '20khz bandwidth' mode the new AW and AWU mode can supply up to 9khz audio bandwidth, otherwise you hear the maximum audio bandwidth the server supplies (normally 6khz). AWU mode adds the NRSC equalization curve used by US based AM BCB stations (AW without equalization is for international BCB reception). International users can select to use 9khz frequency Jogging within the BCB. A 'Master Audio Gain' is provided for users that wish to adjust for certain server configurations. Enhanced connectivity compatibility with certain Kiwi servers operating behind strict router configurations.
