We’ve enhanced our offline experience by giving designers the power to optimize the user experience of offline tasks. The new a!submittedOfflineTaskIds function returns a list of task IDs for submitted offline tasks, making it simple for designers to remove completed offline tasks from a custom task list.

Designers can also now add offline-enabled interfaces as Interface type site pages. This gives more flexibility for designing read-only interfaces for offline experiences.

We’ve enhanced the offline experience to minimize the risk of data loss when working with offline forms by adding automatic recovery to offline actions. Now, when any offline form is closed unexpectedly, we will auto-populate the form with the user’s previous in progress data so they can pick up where they left off.
Appian developers can now design offline forms using record data types. Offline forms no longer rely on custom data types (CDTs), unlocking greater flexibility with your data fabric.
