The app now remembers which record you were viewing! If you leave and the app closes in the background, you'll return to the exact record you were working on. Your offline page now refreshes automatically after completing a data sync. You'll always see the most up-to-date information without having to refresh the page yourself. We're constantly improving things around here! This release includes a clearer, more direct way to update your app when it's required, alongside our usual round of bug fixes.

Optimized screen real estate! When there is only one view on your record, we’ve maximized screen space by hiding the record view switcher for a cleaner, more focused view. For iPadOS 18 users, enjoy an enhanced navigation experience with site pages now conveniently displayed in a floating tab bar within the app header, designed to optimize your larger screen.

We’ve enhanced the offline experience to minimize the risk of data loss when working with offline forms by adding automatic recovery to offline actions. Now, when any offline form is closed unexpectedly, we will auto-populate the form with the user’s previous in progress data so they can pick up where they left off. Appian developers can now design offline forms using record data types. Offline forms no longer rely on custom data types (CDTs), unlocking greater flexibility with your data fabric. Bug fixes.

We’re introducing a simple method for offline users to sync their offline forms. The new Data Sync option in the Appian Mobile menu allows offline users to sync all offline data from a single convenient location. Users can see the exact date and time their data was last refreshed and have confidence that their offline forms are up to date.
