This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included.

Notifications are here!
ATX Trail can now notify you when you are near a water fountain or restroom to make sure you don't miss them.  Trail experts can turn this on or off in the settings of course.

The Check-In marker now also shows you how far you are from your start point.

Now you can Check-In to mark your start location (or where you parked your car), if you do get lost you need to know where you started!
