Dark mode has arrived.
By popular demand and after a lot of work by a number of teams, BBC Sport now supports dark mode. 
For the first time, the app will automatically reflect your device’s system theme - switching seamlessly between light and dark depending on your settings.

In a small collection of very niche scenarios, headlines could sometimes lose the odd word, and visiting the same page twice in a row wouldn’t always work. This is no longer the case.

In this release, we have updated how we show you when an article was published or updated, and how some of our articles are displayed. This should mean they load faster.
It also includes the new Video Carousel, to bring you the best highlights of the sporting action, as well as the Share button — now available on all pages across the App.

We are also saying goodbye to the Live Guide — due to ongoing technology changes this page will no longer be updating, so it has been removed from the navigation.
