Original release notes

New this week in Bird Identifier - BirdBook:

NEW
- Identify birds by sound, the feature you asked for most. Record or listen to a bird call and get matches to help you learn what you’re hearing, even when you can’t spot the bird clearly.
- Enjoy the iOS 26 Liquid Glass experience. The app feels smoother and more fluid across scanning, results, and chat.

IMPROVED
- Better visual flow from photo scanning to identification results to your follow-up chat. Updated design language makes it easier to move through the full process and stay focused on what matters.

FIXED
- Improved translucency and depth for more immersive scans and results. Bird details now feel clearer and more lifelike, without distracting visual artifacts.

Thanks for exploring the birds around you. More field-ready updates are on the way!
