Dearest Bonza Puzzlers,

We always try to create an elegant and sophisticated experience. Occasionally, watching an ad can disrupt that experience and we understand how frustrating it can be. In this version, you can disable ads from the settings screen, this will remove any opportunity for ads to be seen within the game. Please be aware, you can still continue to support us by purchasing coins or leaving a 5-star review.

Hi Bonza puzzlers, Classic Packs are now purchasable with coins! If you’ve been saving them for a rainy day, it’s now your chance to splurge. New puzzles are created by the Bonza community every day. Soon, we’ll start a “Weekly Top-5” that features top-rated puzzles from the previous week. This will be available to everyone and updated each weekend. We’re working to improve our rating system and the algorithm that helps bring good puzzles to the surface. You can help by playing UNRATED PUZZLES (from the Settings screen) and give them star ratings accordingly. Please be aware, many of these puzzles have never been seen. Thanks for playing!

Hi! Apologies for the delayed update, we’ve been busy working on another game called “Word Laces”, you can play it now on Apple Arcade. This Bonza update includes some much needed fixes and optimisations, the game should now be running smoother and generally more stable. We appreciate your patience and we’re very happy to have you as part of the Bonza family.

Hi Bonza Buddies,
This update is optimised for iPhoneX and also includes a bunch of refactoring. The recent overhaul should stabilise the app and address some of the issues you may have encountered. There aren’t any new puzzle packs but we’re committed to maintaining the bonus puzzle every weekend.

Sorry it’s been a little while since the last update. We’ve been focussed on developing the new game and we’ve also welcomed a new baby into the family! 2018 will be super exciting with the upcoming launch of Bonza Jigsaw, we can’t wait to share it with you.

The old Daily Puzzle was a backbone of the Bonza experience for years. We manually edited the old Daily Puzzle every day for over 1000 days. Although it was a labour of love, that pressure can put a strain on the business and our family lives. The new Daily Shuffle relieves that pressure and allows us to work on a brand new Bonza game. Thanks for your understanding.

There’s a database with thousands of puzzles designed by the Bonza community. The shuffle chooses a random puzzle (with a high rating) from the database. The system is still relatively new so some average puzzles can slip through the cracks. If you see any disappointing puzzles, please give them a one star rating so they no longer appear in the shuffle. We’ve made some changes to the shuffle algorithm so you should start seeing more high quality puzzles.

We overlooked the daily ritual of playing the same puzzle as your loved ones, sorry about that. We’ve added a new feature allowing you to do this, simply tap “Share Puzzle” from the gameplay screen and you’ll be up and running.

This update is jam-packed full of new features and optimisations including 2 new JUMBO PACKS available for coins. There are enhancements to the puzzle editor and general improvements to usability.

Thanks for your awesome feedback, the puzzle rating system has helped to establish a quality benchmark. Puzzle rating is now completely optional and it’s also switched to a 5 star system. We invite you to continue rating puzzles and maintaining the benchmark.

You’ll notice an adjustment to the free hint system. Instead of revealing the entire answer, the free hint now reveals a single piece at a time. It’s a puzzle within a puzzle. This may not be a popular feature and we apologise, please consider that we are doing our best to maintain a sustainable family business using ads that are completely optional.

Hi Bonza Solvers,

We plan to collect the best puzzles from the community and showcase them. We’ve implemented a rating system that should help find the cream of the crop.

You can now create MYSTERY CLUES using the puzzle creator. Use a combination of upper and lower case letters. E.g. “Dog Breeds” becomes “D-- B-----”.

Some players have asked for the ability to examine the details of a puzzle after it's complete. You can now do this by tapping BACK from the puzzle complete screen. We hope you enjoy this new feature.

In this version we’ve addressed some performance issues and made general optimisations. If you’ve had errors in the past, hopefully this fixes them.
