- v1.2iOS
This update adds a very cool new feature to the app. We added a new detail that you can fill in, namely the Gas Tank size. Once that info has been entered to the app, we are able to estimate how much gasoline there is currently is in the tank. This information gets automatically updated each time you add mileage for a car. The calculation takes into account the Gas Tank size and the consumption averages (mpg or litres per 100km) for previously entered refuels for a Car. The new feature can be activated on the settings tap of the app by simply flipping the switch to "Show Gas Tank Estimation". After activating the feature, there will be a graphical indicator on top of the main Car list's Car photo to gradually show the estimation bar for the amount of gasoline in the tank. The bar goes from green to amber to red for easy viewing. This feature can be very handy especially for anyone with multiple cars and having difficulty remembering the level of gasoline for each. If you make it a habit to always enter the mileage for a car after finishing a drive, you will have up to date gasoline estimation for each car! Prerequisites for this feature are: -At least one refuel entered to the app for a Car -Refuels must be always done as full tanks -Gas Tank Size must be entered to the app -This feature is for gasoline and diesel cars (not electric cars) Also we added some extra info that can be seen by tapping the registration plate on the main Car list: -Tank level in percentage -Estimated max range for a car (this will change over time as more and more refuels are entered to the app) -Estimated range left for a car We hope you will find the new features useful once again.
- v1.1iOS
The registration plate on the main screen has not had a function to it other than showing it's value. This update makes the registration plate special as it can now also be tapped to reveal the following: -Registration date for a car -Years, months and days since the car was registered, effectively telling how old the car is exactly -Average distance driven per day with a car since it was registered -Purchase date of a car -Ownership duration in years, months and days -Average distance driven per day with a car since it's ownership started -Total distance driven with a car since the ownership started -Last service type -Days, months and years since the last service took place -Distance driven with a car since the last service -Days, months and years since the last oil level check was done -Days, months and years since the tire pressure was last checked -Date when the car was last inspected -Inspection result -Date when the next inspection is due That's quite a lot information revealed easily with just a tap of a button on the main screen of the app. We hope you like the frequent updates to the app and maybe you can also leave a review on the AppStore if you enjoy using CarDrive.
