Checkpoint Champion…. is BACK!

After a long hiatus we’ve updated the game and made it available to play once more. We hope you enjoy this challenging blast from the past!

NEW LOCATION! - Ice Lake
- Features 24 brand new challenges!
- Ice and Snow terrain!

- With a surprise mix of checkpoints!

NEW CAR! - Britannia Micro
- Features a slower turning speed - great for beginners!
- Don’t underestimate it though. It has the most powerful turbo yet!
- 7 shiny new paint jobs to unlock!

OTHER IMPROVEMENTS
- Changed the car statistics to better reflect differences between the cars.
- Added a star counter to the main menu.
- Added an Event of the Day star counter.
- Improved graphics quality for high resolution devices.
- Reduced download size.Improved performance on slower devices!
- Changed the starting car to be a Britannia Micro (better for beginners).
- Various small bug fixes and improvements.

LEADERBOARD IMPROVEMENTS
- Fixed a nasty bug that prevented scores from being submitted to the leaderboards for some people.
- Global leaderboards can now be easily accessed from in game.
- Star Count leaderboard now works!

NEW FUNCTIONALITY
- Added a shortcut to the Garage from the Challenges menu.

OTHER STUFF
- Fixed various minor bugs and translations.

GAMEPLAY
- Reduced the difficulty of some early challenges and some especially hard bonus challenges.
- Increased the Aerodrome Arena starting time to 15 seconds (up from 10).
- Reduced the checkpoint distance increase in Aerodrome Arena.
- Reduced the Star Unlock value of Dustbowl 1, Aerodrome Arena and the Event of the Day by 5.
- Added a Star Count leaderboard (available in Game Center).
- Unfortunately, some of these changes will make a few of your hard-earned scores a little worse, but we hope it will bring more players into Checkpoint Champion and allow us to keep supporting it for longer with new cars, locations and more. :-)

NEW LANGUAGE SUPPORT
- Now in 11 languages - English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Turkish, Russian, Korean, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified).

BUG FIXES
- Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented cars from unlocking (like the Outrunner GT-450 and Tofu Express XR).
- Fixed a bug that prevented the Event of the Day working for 24 hours. "My bad." - Matt.
- Fixed a bug that forgot if you had HQ mode on or off.
- Fixed some leaderboard bugs.
- Many other minor bugs squashed.
