Summer is on! And so are the new ClearVPN updates and fixes.

Your VPN experience is our top priority. Let's take a look at some of the recent improvements that will make using the app even more delightful.

 No more passwords and complex sign-ins! We've simplified the process to a one-time code authentication:

* You receive the code via your email
* Just enter the code to sign in instead of dealing with passwords (code valid for 10 minutes)
* This sign-in method supports any account type, whether you've used to sign in with Apple, Google, Facebook, Setapp, or Email.
* We've removed the Facebook login (please use sign-in with the one-time code from now on)

* The real AppStore prices are now shown for Premium AppStore subscribers in app settings.

* We’ve also added the City to the widget if the VPN is active.

* Some other updates include fixing some UI issues, minor improvements and installing VPN configuration errors.

Spring fixes incoming!

We hope you’re loving the new ClearVPN version (and would love to hear your feedback anyway!). Meanwhile, we have a bunch of fixes and new features for you already!

- You can now block browser ads and trackers with the ClearVPN app. Go to your settings and turn on the blocking feature.

- Added two-finger swipe on our main screen to open connection settings and see the list of all available countries.

- Some fixes as well! We fixed some crashes, app settings issues, as well as paywall and login issues. Plus some minor and technical improvements. All should work just fine now!

BIG REDESIGN IS OUT

After a year of research & prototyping, we’re releasing a new, redesigned ClearVPN!

What changed:

Main screen has a new, minimalistic look. One tap on that big juicy button will do all the VPN work for you.

To pick a country or see server details, go to connection settings at the bottom of the main screen. Streaming mode and Optimal location VPN also live there now.

More features like widgets, Siri shortcuts and our Chrome browser extension were moved to the Features tab.

This update reflects our mission: to secure your online journey in a hassle-free way.

ClearVPN now speaks three more languages!
We’ve added German, French, and Spanish to our app. If you’re native to these languages – or just seek a bit of change in your life – you can change ClearVPN’s language in the app settings.
If you notice issues with our localizations, please let us know!

Also, we’re rolling out some minor fixed things:
* All countries' ping values are now displayed correctly
* No more ping-related crashes
* If you’re thrown offline, we’ll reconnect you to the same city over again

Did you really think we were going to leave you without a Christmas present? No way!

Here’s what’s new:

A much better country picker is here! We’ve reimagined and redesigned our Location changer feature, here’s how:
* Countries are sorted by ping time by default: countries with the fastest servers are on top.  You can also switch to an alphabetic view if you wish.
* For more control, you can connect to multiple cities within one country. But we’ll connect you to the fastest city in any country by default.
* Meet hashtags! They’re used to quickly sort countries for more specific tasks: use #RichContent to see countries with fewer blocked websites at the top of the list, #CostSaving for countries with the lowest prices on products and services, and #TopPrivacy for countries with the best privacy and data protection laws.

We’ve put in months of research and prototyping for this update, so please try it out and let us know what you think!

We’ve also added more info about our team in the About us section of the app and fixed a few bugs along the way.

Mac device model is used instead of Mac device name when displayed in app settings.

Seasonal fruits and veggies can make or break your summer’s vitamin intake. In other words: Eat. Them. Fruits. Seriously, heatwaves may make you feel like summer is here to stay, but it’s not – so you gotta use it to the max!

Speaking of juicy goods, we have some really neat ClearVPN updates for you.

Here’s what’s new:

* We now have a quick introduction tour of our features! This might be pretty useless if you’re a longtime ClearVPN user, but let’s just be happy for the newbies.
* Made country search faster – just start typing and the app will suggest options without having to hit the Search button.
* Lots of minor interface fixes for smoother and more enjoyable app experience. Made some backend fixes to make the app work more reliably.

Did we miss anything? Even so if, this is hell of a lot of new stuff to get used to. Start now and don’t forget about that other vitamin thing that we talked about earlier!

Bugfixes and improvements.

Summers are for being outside. They’re made for feeling grass with your hands and looking at the shapes of clouds. Go do that. Oh, and before you go, here’s what’s new in ClearVPN.

We focused on making app navigation easier. Here’s how:

* You can now use the app without creating an account. Just continue as a guest and enjoy the app with more anonymity. One big difference: guests can’t add more than one device to their ClearVPN app.
* Secure browsing is now Smart connection. Same feature, new name. What do you think about that?
* All keyboard shortcuts are now available in the app Settings. Quicker actions, clearer mind.
* We fixed lots of minor bugs and made small interface improvements that should make the app smoother.

Improved connection stability.

Is spring in full bloom where you’re at right now? Because ClearVPN is teeming with cute little updates!

Here are some of them:

* You can now hide ClearVPN’s icon from your Dock. Just go to System Settings in your ClearVPN app and switch the Show ClearVPN in the Dock control.
* More keyboard navigation! Switch between modes on the details screen with the Up / Down Arrow and hit the Return button to activate them.
* You can now see your connected iOS device model in Your devices section of Settings. Instead of a generic “iPhone” indicator, you’ll see info about your device model (e.g. iPhone 14 Pro).
* No more glitchy images! We noticed an issue with our in-app visuals, and they should be just fine now.
