Original release notes

v2.1 is built from working surveyors' feedback: misclosure bearings the way you read them, editable legs, mixed units, and four new geometry tools.

• Misclosure bearing display: choose azimuth or quadrant and DMS or decimal. Closure & Area shows the bearing at full size, the plot legend and PDF report follow the same setting.
• Entry defaults: set your distance unit, azimuth/quadrant entry, and angle format once in Preferences.
• Edit any traverse leg in place — downstream coordinates, closure, area, and plot recompute.
• Mixed units per leg: type metres, feet, US survey feet, or links on any leg; the job converts in the background. Changing a job's unit now converts stored values.
• Line Tools: four-point intersection, parallel and perpendicular constructions with station, offset, and left/right.
• Common Tangent: all four tangents between two circles (L-L, R-R, L-R, R-L) from two centres or a bearing + distance, with offsets.
• Two Unknowns: solve two missing distances, bearings, or one of each against the closing point, offsets included, and apply the result.
• Recessed Invert: field-term calculator for recessed pipe inverts with a diagram.
• What's New on update and a Version history screen in Preferences.
