Major update: Trips! You can now split your travels into individual trips and manage and view those trips separately.

Your current trip is shown in color on the map. You can end it and start a new trip at any time. Mark trips as favorites to make them easy to find later to review or show your friends. You can also delete unimportant trips to reduce clutter while still keeping the areas you’ve visited uncovered on the global map.

This version improves support for KML files. Now you can open KML and GPX files directly in World Uncovered from your email client, web browser or file manager.

World Uncovered - Anniversary Update!

World Uncovered is one year old! To celebrate this we added new landmarks and features to our app:
- 15 new landmarks
- Saving routes as GPX files - this is a new feature and at the moment it is a bit experimental - but you asked and we added it. A new file is created each time you record a trip. Move them to your Dropbox account to free up disk space on your iPhone and make use them. You can import our files into other apps or share your routes with friends.
- Speed map colouring improved - speed colours mix even nicer, so the map looks better.
- Dark mode for satellite views

In this version we added support for Fog of World 2 backups. Please keep in mind that importing Fog of World backup might take a while for larger backups (30 minutes or more) it is recommended to import it while you don’t need to use recording functionality of World Uncovered and have enough battery power. World Uncovered has to be active all the time during importing.

- Tap on landmark and get it’s name. Tap on it’s name and learn more about it!
- Auto lock mode - keep your screen alive all the time if you want - turn off auto lock mode in World Uncovered settings.
- Fixed database bug - now your database doesn’t get big without a reason.
