Praise

What users love

  • Effective Learning Curriculum
    • The lesson structure is very well thought out and actually helps you improve
    • Gibson really has evaluated a good curriculum for the theory and the steps that a learner needs to go through
  • Engaging and Fun Experience
    • So far its like guitar hero but with a real guitar!
    • I lose track of time playing and learning. The app is slick and professional
Complaint

Common complaints

  • Technical Audio/Mic Issues
    • The app would pick up sound when I was tuning my guitar, but wouldn't pick up sound when I was going through the lessons
    • The app seems to not register that note. so I can't move on to a lesson
  • Aggressive Subscription/Paywall
    • This money hungry company can't even develop an app that's at least half free
    • The premium subscription for 19.99 is misleading when you can’t even access the second lesson without being up charged
  • App Stability and Crashes
    • Currently the app is unusable because it crashes when starting a song
    • Soon as I start a lesson the app crashes
