Back Cast: Rewind the App to Any Day in the Past.

We've added Back Cast, a brand new feature that lets you step back in time inside Deep Dive. Pick any date from yesterday back to 2 years ago and the app will shift into that day, showing charts, maps, and strategies exactly as they were then.

You'll find the Back Cast date picker in the Settings tab. Just tap it and choose your date.

Why it helps:
Explore Wave Impacts, Streamflow, and other data more than 2 days in the past, going beyond the normal time slider.

Study past rain events, weather shifts, seasonal transitions, and changing lake conditions with full app context.

Revisit a memorable fishing day and see exactly what Deep Dive was showing at that time.

Compare past setups to spot repeating patterns and build confidence for future trips.

Whether you're researching a new lake, validating a pattern, or learning from a past outing, Back Cast gives you a smarter way to use history and make better decisions for the next day on the water.

Recent Satellite

See your lake before you leave the dock. We've added Recent Satellite—a brand new map layer that brings actual satellite imagery of your lake directly to your fingertips.

Spot water color changes, algae blooms, muddy runoff, and areas where vegetation has grown or receded. The 30-day timeline slider lets you scroll back through the last month of available imagery to see how conditions have evolved over time.

No simulations. No guesswork. Just a real, up-to-date view of what's actually happening at your favorite fishing spots.

Finding fishing lakes is now faster. We’ve added a new Recents section to the lake search that shows the five fishing lakes you’ve selected most recently, making it easier to get back to your favorite waterbodies and plan your next trip.

This update improves navigation and usability across the app, especially for anglers who fish the same lakes often.

New Feature: Tournament Mode!
Competing in a fishing tournament? Toggle on the new Tournament Mode to instantly hide AI-driven features like Best Areas, Tournament Patterns, and the Bait Tool. This helps you comply with event rules that may deem AI-generated information illegal.
