We've heard your feedback. The "sheet" on the main screen of the app now defaults to the expanded appearance showing recent searches, just like it did before. If you prefer the collapsed appearance, showing more of the interactive map, you can adjust this by tapping the "3 dots" button, selecting "My Account", and visiting "Appearance" settings.
