We’ve updated our UI and experience, including a new home screen that helps you access the hunting tools you need faster and more conveniently. This new start screen creates one location where you can:
• Find hunts by state, species, and season right from the first screen you see when opening the app
• View your current location and access quick map actions like dropping a waypoint, starting a track, using the rangefinder tool, and more
• Redeem your earned shop cash to save on hunting gear
• View upcoming application deadlines
• Add or update your points and residency across multiple states
• Edit and update your user profile and application settings

We've also made some UI and UX adjustments to match iOS 26 design standards. Users on previous versions of iOS will continue to see the traditional GOHUNT interface.

We’re excited to introduce real-time weather data . Now, when you tap on any location or your current position, you’ll see live weather conditions including temperature, wind, and a short forecast. This helps hunters plan more effectively and stay safe in changing weather. The feature is available in both the About Location and Current Location pop-ups. We’re excited to announce the release of new filters to improve your hunt finding options and capabilities!

Changes:
- Added a new “OTC” filter to show over-the-counter opportunities, even when viewing draw and lottery hunt results
- Added a new “Applications Open” filter to remove hunts where the current year’s application deadline has passed.
- Re-ordered filter display to ensure the most relevant filters are more accessible for regular use
- Changed default display of the draw odds/points exclusion filter and added additional labels to make functionality more clear
