Cinematic Video Overviews expansion.
- In addition to Ultra users, Cinematic Video Overviews are now also available to Google AI Pro subscribers and AI Expanded Workspace accounts in English.

Chat Streaming and Thinking.
- Now, when you Chat with NotebookLM, the response will show up instantly, streaming in so you can read along.
- Additionally, when your response has larger sections or paragraphs, we have a smoother animation experience and, when you ask a more complex question that we need to “think” about, we’ll let you know!

Cinematic Video Overviews
The next evolution of the NotebookLM Studio. Unlike standard templates, these are powered by a novel combination of our most advanced models to create bespoke, immersive videos from your sources. Available now for AI Ultra users in English.
LaTex
LaTex rendering is now available in the mobile app. Now when you ask NotebookLM a question, your equations will be perfectly rendered in the Chat.

Push Notifications
When you start generating an artifact (audio overviews, video overviews, slide decks, etc) feel free to exit the app. NotebookLM will now send you a notification when the generation is complete!

Prompt-Based Revisions: Tweak, tailor, and tune your slides by prompting the revisions you want

Customize Video Overviews
• Choose between the Explainer (default) or Brief formats
• Select or de-select which sources you want to use
• Choose from one of our 8 preset visual styles or customize your own
• Write a prompt encouraging NotebookLM to focus on a certain topic area or tailor the content to a specific audience or difficulty level

Open Sources directly in Drive
• You can now open sources directly in their corresponding app (Google Docs, Sheets, Slices, Drive)
• If you do not have the app installed, it will open the source in a new browser tab

• Great at explaining data, demonstrating processes, and making abstract concepts more tangible

• Change the output language
• Add a custom prompt to guide the style, color, or focus (“use a blue color theme and highlight the 3 key stats”)

• Choose between two formats: Detailed (full details on the slide, meant for reading on their own) or Presenter (clean slides with just the key talking points, meant for supporting while you speak)

Save your Audio Overview progress

Select and unselect sources within a notebook
• Don’t want to use all the sources in your notebook? You can now temporarily select and unselect sources while chatting or creating an Audio Overview, so the response is only based on the sources you care about right now.

Messages in chat no longer expire
• Chats are now saved automatically across sessions, so you can resume chatting later without losing context. As always, your work remains private, and you can delete your chats at any time.

• You can now upload your voice memos, podcasts, and meeting recordings to new and existing notebooks.

Expanded Language Support
• The app now supports 28 additional languages and dialects, bringing the total to over 75!

• Say goodbye to long loading times after pressing play on an Audio Overview. We’ve dramatically reduced the buffering time for Audio Overviews (by up to 95%!), so you can start listening faster.

Audio Overview Customization
• Tailor your Audio Overviews to your exact needs. You can now select a preferred language, adjust the length (English only for now), and add prompts to guide the audio generations.

Improved Stability
• We’ve rebuilt our audio experience to make generation, playback, and download more stable and reliable.
