- v2.2Android
Enhancements on services
- v7.3.2iOS
Fixed two more bugs that were causing issues for some users, specifically exporting CSV files or restoring backups.
- v7.3.1iOS
Improvements to the overall transaction amount when adding splits, mainly for foreign transactions. Note that for splits in general, the initial amount entered is always the transaction total. If you would prefer this be the first category amount, please let me know. If a balance report includes the current date (today), include today's balance on the graph. Fixed a permissions issue when trying to import or restore a file into the app.
- v7.3iOS
Added support for light, dark and tinted icons, a new feature in iOS 18. In order to do this, I have reverted the Pro app icon back to black but with a yellow circle. When searching a list of transactions using date ranges, these now default to 00000000 (the beginning of time) and today. Either can be omitted, so you can use //- to filter all transactions to today. When viewing an account, use the tick button to hide or show reconciled transactions (as before). You can now hide them just in the selected account or across all accounts. Also use the double tap gesture to quickly start manual reconciling. If you use the time (of day) added option when ordering transactions that fall on the same day, you can now quickly move a transaction to the end of the day using the blue i button(s). This will give a bit more control over the day order. When cloning a transaction, you can now edit the cloned amount or choose between the last used amount (default) or zero (top left). Added support for the Venezuelan Bolívar (VES). Minor improvements to the account and transaction alerts.
- v7.2.2iOS
Fixed a crash when exporting splits. Fixed an issue when switching between quick and full screen editing of an amount. Tightened up the editing rules for recurring splits. These are only supported if the splits are the same for each occurrence.
- v7.2.1iOS
Further streamlining of the options presented when cloning a transaction. Fixed a bug where the colours were wrong when exporting a (PDF) chart report.
- v7.2iOS
Added an option to show the unreconciled balance of an account. This is set by double tapping the balance at the top of the account view (as it is for other balance types). Changed the way you add and edit split transactions. This is now done directly from the transaction edit screen, simply add multiple categories and set their amounts. When setting the details or category fields, an earlier update changed this to only show those for the selected transaction type (e.g. spending, income, transfers ... etc). A few users weren't setting the transaction type first, so I have changed this back but now show options for other transaction types in grey. Similarly when cloning a transaction, the others section will show non-selected transaction types.
- v7.1.1iOS
Added features from the account views to most other transaction views. For example section totals (spending and income only), quick date editing (blue i buttons) and manual per transaction reconciling (swipe right to left). Added quick editing of a transaction amount, accessed by swiping right to left across the transaction. Changed the way you set negative balances and alert limits, to allow use of the bigger numbers keypad on the iPhone. When cloning a new transaction, the options presented are now based on the transaction type and are searchable. To clone a transaction, tap the + button a second time (as before). When exporting splits as a CSV file, include full transaction info per split. If you would prefer the splits total to be removed, let me know. Moved the sync confirmation button closer to the settings button to improve this workflow (iPad only). Fixed a bug when calculating group and overall totals for very large balances.
- v7.1iOS

- v7.0iOS
When exporting your account balances, only those accounts visible will be included, e.g. if you are hiding hidden accounts. When searching for transactions, you can now narrow this down to a specific date by including //yyyymmdd at the end of the search text. yyyymm or yyyy also work, as does the range yyyymmdd-yyyymmdd. Added an option to view reconciled/historical reminders, by tapping the tick button on the top toolbar. Quickly skip to a specific report by tapping the Reports icon. Added a setting for short vs full screen notes. Added a setting to make the balance graph coloured based on the balance trend (rising is green, falling red, just like the stocks app). Months or weekends are always shown when touching the graph.
- v6.9.2iOS
Fixed a bug where some budgets could not be deleted.
- v6.9.1iOS
Fixed a rare timing condition that impacted iCloud syncing (only reported by one user). Minor changes to the balance graph. Scrolling improvements.
- v6.9iOS
Added support for fixed (ad-hoc) budgets. Simply set a date range when you add a new budget.
- v6.8iOS
Added section totals to the accounts, all transaction and recurring transaction views. Moved adding budgets and changing groups/accounts to the Edit button. The “all” budgets are now included in the spending, income and transfers sections. Added a setting per budget where you can view it across all periods (the current default) or restrict it to the period you set it for. This lets you separate your monthly budgets from your yearly ones (e.g.). Re-organised the settings and advanced settings screens. Fixed an issue with Dropbox authentication (i.e. linking to the app) timing out after 4 hours. Other minor bug fixes.
- v6.7.4iOS
Fixed a performance issue introduced in my last update (large databases only). Minor changes to the reports.
- v6.7.3iOS
Added support for viewing/editing the notes field of an account directly from the (all) accounts screen. Just swipe left to right. You can also access the application notes using the transaction rows. Improved the breakdown of transactions on the recurring transactions screen. Minor improvements when entering the details (payee) field. Bug fixes.
- v6.7.2iOS
Added a more streamlined way to enter current balances, opening balances and alert limits. Bug fixes.
- v6.7.1iOS
Added a more streamlined way to enter notes, useful for shorter entries. Longer notes can still use full screen. Moved setting an account's current balance to the (all) accounts screen (swipe right to left on an account). Changed the app's preview view (as seen on the task switcher) to use a blurred effect (instead of a single colour). Fixed a bug on the Apple Watch when displaying CHF currencies. Minor improvements to the import wizard and the UI in general. Minor changes for iOS 15 compatibility. The app now requires iOS 11 or above.
- v6.7iOS
Moved exporting your budgets from the reports to the budgets screen itself (top right). Added support for exporting budgets in CSV format (in addition to PDF). If you use group or account budgets, you can switch between accounts using the action button (top right). If you have budgeted for more than one category, the app now automatically adds a "budgeted" row to track your totals. From the reports, you can now double tap the pie charts to switch to list view. Quickly return by tapping the reports icon itself. Backend changes to currency rate lookups. They now cover more currency combinations but the rates are not live (they are indicative only).
- v6.6iOS
Moved exporting your account balances from the reports to the accounts screen (top right). You can now export in CSV format (in addition to PDF). From the reports you can now export the selected transactions in CSV format (in addition to PDF). From any list of transactions you can now export in PDF format (in addition to CSV). Added an advanced setting to set the export format for CSV files (defaults to Windows but sometimes this can give extra blank rows, if so switch to macOS/Unix). Added a look ahead option that will go as far as your last transaction, beyond the previous limit of 24 months. Improved the handling of closed accounts, e.g. the last transaction date is now shown while editing your accounts. Fixed a bug when importing CSV files with non-default date formats.
- v6.5.4iOS
AppStore marketing changes.
- v6.5.3iOS
Bug fixes.
- v6.5.2iOS
Fixed a bug that could cause recent changes to be lost when dealing with very large numbers of transactions (15-30k or more).
- v6.5.1iOS
Fixed a bug that prevented transaction scrolling beyond +2 years.
- v6.5iOS
Added support for 1st July and 1st October year starts. The app now handles most of the world’s tax years. Changes to transaction colours. I now use grey for reconciled transactions, red for unreconciled transactions (up to today) and blue for future transactions. While this loses the "blue for today" when grouped by month, I think it is now better. Following feedback, the grey for reconciled setting now covers the amount too. As a result, reconciled transaction amounts will not be coloured red or green. Improvements when right scrolling transactions, especially for accounts with very few transactions. Minor changes to the calendar date picker on the iPad. Bug fixes.
- v6.4iOS
Added support for iCloud Drive. To enable it you need to disable syncing (if enabled), disable iCloud in the app settings, then re-enable iCloud again, choosing the iCloud Drive option. Added an option to force a sync from this device (iCloud only, not usually required but it sometimes helps). Just select the syncing row in the app settings. Added support for exporting CSV files in macOS (Unix) format. Just tap and hold the CSV button. Minor colour changes.
