Update to handle a server change affecting the NWS current conditions API.

Wx has been updated to support the new high-resolution NWS NDFD forecast feed, which transitioned from experimental to operational status on April 17 2024.  With this change, point and pro forecast data in Wx is now available over a finer spatial grid with 1.5 mile resolution (down from 3 miles). In addition, pro forecast data now offers finer 1-hour temporal resolution (down from 3 hours) for the first 36 hours, which increases the fidelity of data plotted on pro forecast graphs.

Update to accommodate changes in the National Weather Service Alerts API.

Update to handle unannounced changes in the NWS AviationWeather API that supplies current conditions data to Wx.

Changed to a different provider for current conditions data since the legacy NWS feed has become unreliable in recent months.

Update to fix missing radar data after NWS server changes in October 2022.

Fixed an iOS 14 bug with the radar animation controls.

Wx for iPhone 3.1.4 re-enables NWS radar mosaic maps which have returned to service.  Tap the "Add Map" button at the bottom of the screen to setup the new mosaics.

Wx for iPhone 3.1.3 restores radar functionality after the NWS changed their radar framework in late December 2020 and broke the previous implementation.  In addition, the NWS has discontinued some of the previously available radar mosaic maps, so those have been removed from the app (users should manually delete old maps from their list).  New mosaics are available for CONUS, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and the Caribbean, and can be added using the "Add Map..." button at the bottom of your location/map list.

Thanks to all our great customers who have been using Wx for over 15 years! Wx 3.1.2 has a small tweak to avoid a crash when the NWS sends out corrupt XML forecast data.

Minor bug fix for NWS satellite maps.

Fix for iOS 13 bug that was preventing selection of sites on the map when setting up a new location.  Interface improvements and updates for all new devices.  Revised GOES satellite maps (you will need to set these up again to see the new maps).  Added a refresh button to the radar screen for on-demand updates.

Fixed a crash-on-launch bug affecting some iOS 10 users who have a map setup as their first weather item.

Graphics updates throughout the app, and improved performance behind the scenes.  Updates for iOS 10 and new devices.

Fix for situations where point and pro forecast graphics were not properly updating in iOS 7.  Revision to URLs for GOES Conus maps to avoid image duplication (please delete and setup these maps if you encountered the problem).  Wx will now refresh data every 10 minutes (was 30 minutes before).

Wx fetches text forecast data differently after the NWS broke their data format during server upgrades in March. New interface design for iOS 7 (with slider to control interface brightness). Fix to handle unannounced changes in NWS satellite map URLs. After updating to the new version, please delete and recreate any NWS satellite maps that are showing download errors.

Corrected default GOES CONUS map to use new NWS server.

Added support for new NWS radar and observation sites.  Corrected URLs for satellite imagery that changed after NWS server migration (please delete and recreate satellite maps for proper operation).
