A calendar of astronomical events has been added to version 4.4.2. Premium users can plan observations of celestial phenomena in advance, providing themselves with the necessary equipment and ideal observing conditions. This is especially useful for photographers, astronomers and teachers who need to plan observations or educational activities. As a reminder, the basic free version of the app contains links to both educational materials and websites with weather conditions for astronomical observations.

Deluxe Moon Pro introduces 25+ home screen widgets + 4 Lock Screen widgets. They all are supposed to be fixed for iOS 17.

2. When you tap on he middle of a line on Raise/Set screen a Twilight screen is open. Which is very cenvenient.

1. Saturn returned in the Retrograde Planets extension.
2. We added a "Dreams" category to lunar forecast for those who already use the "Planetary Hours" or "Moon Tables" extension.

This update adds a new extension called "Retrograde Planets". Tap on a planet symbol to read a brief description of its retrograde period.
You can also add periods of retrograde planets to your calendar or share them with friends.

For those who use the lunar calendar to improve learning and exam efficiency, we have added a new category of lunar forecast "Learning".

Moonrise / Moonset notifications added

1. We added more educational information into the app. Menu->scroll down, scroll down more, and more, and a little bit more... Here we are! "References"! It's time to learn how moon phases work. Read articles about the Moon, the Earth and solar system.
2. New template for sharing moon information to stories. This picture contain moon phase, moon age, distance the moon, next full moon, new moon and closest eclipse date.
NOTE. Not all eclipses are visible in your location! To find out what is visible, pleaase refer to Menu->Eclipses
Remember, you can share moon data as text on Menu->Sun/Moon data screen.

Firts of all, we returned back iPad landscape mode.
Please don't run Deluxe Moon Pro in the landscape mode. It was NOT supposed to run, though it's technically possible now.
For iPad please refer to the Deluxe Moon HD. It was designed to run on ipads only, though it's beautiful and vry attractive. Especially on large sceens like 12.9 iPad Pro.

New templates were added.

Now you can share moon phase caledar, moon calendar, void of course calendar, moon day description and more.
The last template reproduces Deluxe Moon Pro for iPhone v. 3.96

Some people say that Deluxe Moon was much more attractive long time ago. Well, now it's possible to share old-fasioned imges of the app.

Visual improvements

Added vertical scrolling arrows into the main menu. Main menu is scrollable. There are a lot of items there. Scroll up and down, up and down, up and down!
Added YouTube tutorials to the main menu. Surprisingly too few users looked at the tutorials. Though there is a lot of information about cool features available in Deluxe Moon only
Added references to the other Deluxe Moon applications: amazing Deluxe Moon HD for iPad  and beautiful Deluxe Moon Pro for Mac

Removed iPad landscape mode: Deluxe Moon Pro is supposed to be used on iPhone. For iPad please download Deluxe Moon HD. We added a reference to teh main menu. Deluxe Moon HD is old but works perfectly on iPads, including iPad Pro. It was designed for iPads while Deluxe Moon Pro was made for iPhones

Extensions.
• Altitude Calc
Essential for professional photographers.
Allows you to calculate the time when the Moon / Sun are at a certain altitude. It is also possible to set the azimuth. Selected times can be added to iCal with a reminder.
• Aspects
Table of the main aspects of the Moon with other planets. Contains the major aspects of the Moon from 1950 to 2050. This extension can be useful to professional astrologers and be considered as reference information. It is possible to filter the data by zodiac sign, which simplifies the search for specific events.

Widgets.
• Moon day description
For those who have purchased the "Moon Tables" extension, 2 widgets are available with the characteristics of the moon day. Day number, start-end time, day progress, symbol, description. The large widget is great for iPad.
• Altitude/azimuth of the Moon.
For those who have purchased the "Altitude Calc" extension, the widget contains information about the altitude, azimuth and % illumination of the lunar disk for the next 6 hours. It can effectively complement the weather widget on the main screen.
•  Moon Void of Course Calendar.
Unique set of 3 widgets showing Moon VOC periods. Each widget also shows current/upcoming VOC period time.  It's very convenient for planning activities and important actions.
"Aspects extension is required"

Changes in menu structure.
As new extensions are added to the program, we decided to group them next to the basic features. So, for example, we placed the Twilight extension next to the Sunrise/Sunset table. "Apogees/Perigees" coexist with "Supermoons" and so on.
The settings are still at the very bottom. There are a lot of items in the menu, yes, you need to scroll.

Remember, there are shortcut buttons at the bottom of the screen that can be reconfigured. Long tap on a button to re-cinfigure it.
