Ruby 2.0 changes a lot about the Ruby experience. Major changes: - Images are now available on articles that support them! I know this was a highly requested feature, and it's finally here. - New app icon (as well as a nice assortment of alternatives) - Apple Watch app redesign! This design embraces watchOS 10 with a much more elegant look. - New explore page. This page incorporates trending and search in one place. - Lots of new modern design elements, such as updated search bars, a new Topic Picker, and a rounded font with Navigation Bar Titles. - Rewrote all major parts of the app, squashing tons of bugs in the process Smaller changes: - Articles now copy to clipboard by default, rather than a share sheet in between - Added flags to Region/Language picker - App is now more responsive - Updated loading screens - Updated About, Credits, and Support pages - Updated some Text and Link references - Updated Sidebar on iPad and Mac - Tweaked fonts and theme color - Brought images to Bookmarks - Added links to Open Source packages in Settings Thanks for using Ruby over the years. Ruby v1.2 significantly enhances the Ruby experience for all users. – Massive refresh for the Apple Watch app. This update brings a new design, and haptics! It also brings Trends to Apple Watch, along with a new Settings page for setting Region and Language on the go. – Introducing a brand new macOS app! If you have a Mac computer of any sort, feel free to try it. The download will be free if you currently own it on your iPhone or iPad. – We are now pulling the News from a different source, which provides better news, along with more results. – Updated Article layout on the iOS app. Each article is more compact, and the Time is now displayed in a better format for users to understand. – Introduced a new Reader View, which gets rid of the Ads and other Popups that were previously shown when loading a news article directly from the web. – Fixed issue where your Region/Language wouldn’t properly set for the Trending and Search tab.
