- v5.5iOS
This release is primarily cosmetic to ensure compatibility with latest SDK and devices.
- v5.4iOS
Accelerometer view now has a 2D Lissajous overlay option with axis selection for more insight of motion and vibration analysis. Gyro view now shows Roll/Pitch/Yaw Angle gauges, plus you can select the Attitude reference frame from those available on your device. Multi Sensor Recording enables you to select the Attitude reference frame from those available on your device.
- v5.3iOS
Multi-Sensor recording time limit removed. Automation now allows for repeated recordings of a set duration to avoid huge file sizes, e.g., easily record 12 files of 1 hour each unattended, instead of one large 12 hour file. Accelerometer display now shows the -g & +g Max values.
- v5.2iOS
Added real time charting of the Magnetometer calibrated magnetic field, finally!
- v5.1iOS
Calibrated magnetic field data is now recorded in multi-sensor recording. Total magnetic field strength is now plotted in the multi-sensor visualisation. Added full rotation matrix and Quaternion to the attitude data in multi-sensor recording. Added the Course angle to the GPS data in multi-sensor recording. iOS13 Ready Fixed some dark Mode/iOS13 cosmetic issues.
- v5.0iOS
Massive exciting update: Visualisation of sensors from multi-sensor recording in a new dynamic view - accelerometer, gyroscope, attitude, speed, altitude, magnetometer, location. You can now select multiple recorded files at the same time to share/email or delete. Multi-Sensor layout better adapts to different screen sizes. Explanation of axis definition for accelerometer, gyroscope, and attitude/orientation.
- v4.5iOS
Fix occasional crashes when initialising sensors.
- v4.4iOS
Bug Fixes - multi-sensor recording of calibrated magnetic field now correct.
- v4.3iOS
New G-Force Automation trigger - very useful for syncing data recording with other apps such as video recording. Added extra sensitivity option to the Accelerometer visual, plus option to view userAcceleration which attempts to filter out the effect of gravity, useful for the new higher sensitivities to keep the traces on screen. GPS/Location data now included horizontal and vertical +/- accuracy. Fix iPhoneX layout issues.
- v4.2iOS
Bugfix: Recorded Data menu option was not responding on larger screens.
- v4.1iOS
AUTOMATION! V3 brought Multi-Sensor Recording, now V4 brings Automation. Trigger your recordings to start either after a simple delay, or when you enter or leave a predefined GPS Region. End your recordings either after set duration, or when you enter or leave a predefined GPS Region. (Plus fixed multi-sensor screen auto layout problems on smaller devices on V4.0)
- v4.0iOS
AUTOMATION - including a massive introductory price reduction for one week only! V3 brought Multi-Sensor Recording, now V4 brings Automation. Trigger your recordings to start either after a simple delay, or when you enter or leave a predefined GPS Region. End your recordings either after set duration, or when you enter or leave a predefined GPS Region. Automation makes getting the data you want so much easier, and eliminates lots of unnecessary recorded data. Set up the triggers as required, close the phone and go. Set and Forget! Later when you open SensorPlay the data you were after will have been automatically recorded and saved for you.
- v3.91iOS
Price reduction for one week only! Compass: Now also shows Calibrated Magnetic Field values GPS: Show speed in kph if altitude unit is m, mph if altitude unit is ft. Fixed gForce display in the Today Widget.
- v3.9iOS
Removed an extraneous comma at the end of the multi-sensor exported csv file header.
- v3.8iOS
Increase max recording time to 6 hours Ensure recording doesn't pause if there is minimal location change.
- v3.7iOS
Fixed problem with 3D Touch availability on iOS10
- v3.6iOS
Add Motion ActivityType information to Location Services view. Increase precision of yaw, roll, pitch data output in multi-sensor recording. iOS10 sdk build.
- v3.5iOS
Multi-Sensor recording enhancements: Add Magnetometer. Enable selection of which sensors you wish to export - only export what you're interested in.
- v3.4iOS
Accelerometer & Gyroscope recordings now continue in the background. Data files are still saved if app is forced to close by iOS, or battery runs out. Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
- v3.3iOS
Background recording is here, you asked for it, you got it! This is available in MultiSensor recording where you can now record all sensor data continuously for up to two hours even when the app is in the background or you turn the screen off. Be aware though that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. If the app terminates due to capacity or other issues it will still automatically save the recorded data file if at all possible. Added a support email option on the info screen for those without Facebook.
- v3.2iOS
Fixed bug that prevented sharing recorded data files from iPad
- v3.1iOS
Added MotionActivity and Barometer data to multi-sensor export. Max recording limit increased to 1 hour
- v3.0iOS
Sensor play is not just a toy anymore! Beyond the obvious fun of watching the accelerometer and gyroscope graphs bounce around you can now record multi-sensor data all at the same time for a full external analysis of your, or your iPhone's, motion through time and space however you so desire. The following data is recorded to a csv file for sharing through the standard iPhone share sheet. Timestamp Accelerometer: X, Y, Z Gyroscope: X, Y, Z Attitude: Roll, Pitch, Yaw Location: Longitude, Latitude, Speed, TrueHeading, Altitude A serious engineering, scientific, and educational analysis tool. Sharing of all recordings is now through the built in share options which includes, Airdrop, mail, message, notes, dropbox (if installed), etc.
- v2.3.2iOS
Got an iPhone6S or 6S+? Now see your 3D/Force Touch in action.
- v2.2.1iOS
Fix iPad crashes when displaying ActionSheets
