We’re continually working on improvements to our apps, and this update includes a number of improvements to the user interface to provide better visualization of medication dosing, as well as a number of behind-the-scenes enhancements.

This update includes a number of exciting new features and enhancements. You will now have the ability to select your favorites, allowing display of only the medications and calculations you use most frequently, or all the content if you prefer.

This update fixes a bug associated with weight and height entries requiring decimal points.

This update includes improvements in our user interface, including a new slider tool allowing selection of medication dosing ranges and infusions.  You now have the ability to precisely adjust medication dosing and infusion rates, minimizing drug errors and assisting in accurate delivery of medications through infusion pumps or drip sets.

Current update includes user interface improvements to improve the readability of the app and improve the user experience, alternative burn resuscitation guidelines and Broselow guide updates.

This upgrade includes an improved search function, adding the ability to search by categories as well as medications and equipment.  We also corrected a couple bugs to improve data entry. Pedi-STAT is now completely connected to a database, while keeping its ability to be used offline. This will allow swift content updates, medical corrections, and more!

Welcome to the brand new version of Pedi STAT!  We have completely rebuilt the app, keeping the features that have made it so successful, but have made major improvements to the functionality and overall appearance.

We’ve added a search function to rapidly access the content you need, as well as a large number of additional medications.

The burn section is much improved, allowing the user to accurately estimate the total body surface involved, followed by correct fluid resuscitation volumes and rates.

Cardiac resuscitation medications and algorithms have been updated with an improved look and functionality.

The Seizure section has been rebuilt and includes medical management as well as an evidence-based algorithm on managing status epilepticus.

Our pharmacy team has completely reviewed the medical content and we’ve included all the recommended dosing and volume changes.

We also have developed a formal collaboration with the EMSC Innovation and Improvement Center (https://emscimprovement.center) to assist providers in getting access to all the most current evidence-based data in pediatric emergency care and become more informed on pediatric readiness.
