Sort your recipe collection by name or date added — tap the sort button to switch. Along with a healthy serving of bug fixes and improvements.

Surprise Me - can't decide what to cook? Tap the new Surprise Me button to get a random recipe from your collection.

New categories - Soup and Sauce join the lineup. Categories are now listed alphabetically for easier browsing.

TikTok and Instagram recipes, finally.

Tap Share in TikTok, Instagram, or Safari and pick Recipe Fox - or paste a URL directly. Recipe Fox pulls the recipe from the caption or page and saves it to your cookbook.

Also new:
- Preview before saving - check ingredients and steps first
- Source icons - see where every recipe came from at a glance
- Smoother import - animated loading, spring-in preview, better save confirmation

iPad improvements.
- Recipe grid spacing fixed - cards now lay out evenly in all orientations
- Other general but fixes and improvements.

A handful of fixes and polish:

- Cook mode is smoother — fixed a freeze when stepping through recipes, and resolved image and transition glitches
- Share extension now works reliably on iOS 26
- Sign-in screen has been cleaned up

Recipe Fox now runs on iPad. The recipe grid adapts to any screen size, cook mode is optimized for the larger display, and everything scales properly in both portrait and landscape.

Also in this update:

- Your recipe count now shows in the header
- Filters (favorites, categories, tags) now work as a single selection - no more conflicting combinations
- Dedicated empty state when you haven't favorited anything yet
- Several stability fixes for cook mode navigation

What's New in 1.1

- Category and tags are now shown separately on each recipe — easier to manage
- Change a recipe's category at any time by tapping it
- Tag filters now show recipes matching any selected tag
- Magic link sign-in works correctly after tapping the email link
- Imported ingredients no longer show double parentheses

A handful of improvements based on early feedback:

- Share from Safari - save any recipe directly from your browser using the iOS Share Sheet, without opening the app first
- Tags are cleaner - the # prefix is gone, and you can now edit a recipe's category after saving it
- Smoother navigation - screens slide in and out with a proper animation instead of cutting instantly
- Faster launch — reduced the splash screen delay so you get to your recipes sooner
