Welcome to Bakeshop 6! It's been far-too-long since releasing any updates, which makes sense having a full-time engineering position. On top of that, the Bakeshop codebase is almost as old as the App Store, and was becoming difficult to maintain. That changes now!

Version 6 of the app has undergone a significant code transformation in order to make it easier and quicker to release improvements. The latest technologies are now being used; Swift async/await and SwiftUI have completely modernized the app.

This release does not include any new features - and in fact scales back in a couple areas - making sure the app has a solid foundation on which to build.

* Bakeshop 5.5 introduces a completely updated sync system. Fully embracing Swift Concurrency, the new sync system will make future development more streamlined.
* There have been few updates to the features provided by Bakeshop, as the focus of this release is under-the-hood improvements.
* A new 'Settings' experience offers a couple of utilities for troubleshooting sticky situations.

No functional changes in this release, just some updated contact links.

* Support for Dark Mode
* Updated scaling for more precise translations
* Refreshed navigation
* Better support for keyboards on iPad.
* Bug fixes and performance improvements.

This update makes the launch experience faster for those that don't have iCloud enabled.

Fixed a bug where measured ingredients were always using a 1:1 ratio when being scaled.

Fixed a bug where the refresh control was not being dismissed after a manual sync.

Some background updates for support and troubleshooting.

Corrected an issue where the measurement keyboard would not be displayed. Also fixed an issue that wouldn't sync changes to re-ordering a formula.

Re-introduced in this update is the "Each" measurement for ingredients. You can specify a quantifiable measurement that is equal to one of an ingredient (think an 'egg'). Thanks to Michael for the request!

Welcome to Bakeshop 5! This update has some new features that have been in the works for a while and it's exciting to finally share them.

This update to Bakeshop has improved interpretation of measurements (especially 'Cups'). Also, every recipe will now display the formula as entered instead of interpretted.

Corrected popup crash when adding items to recipes on iPad.

This update addresses:
• Issue where selecting a Scaling type caused the formula to adjust slightly.
• Issues found while backing up and restoring from iCloud.
• Updates to the demo ingredients and recipes.

• Corrects an issue where recipe formula sorting wouldn't be saved correctly.

Move along, nothing to see here... unless you're interested in why some Recipe names and details didn't show when you opened the app. If you're interested in that, then you'll be happy to know this version fixes that bug.

A few bugs were introduced in the last version, this update squashes a few of them.

Thanks for using Bakeshop! In this update, the need to specify a measurement unit for a recipe's total mass has been removed. The selected unit for the portion will be used in it's place (It's more clear what unit is being used when scaling by Bakers %). Also, a nasty bug that would crash the app when restoring from an iCloud backup has been fixed. Have feedback? Make sure to tap the gear icon and get in touch.

This update to Bakeshop has an intelligent new scaling and interpretation system. Now when scaling recipes, amounts will be rounded when needed to create a more legible formula. Also, measurements will be interpreted an broken down into understandable amounts. For instance, in place of '4 teaspoons', Bakeshop will read '1 tablespoon 1 teaspoon'.

This update also include new measurement units for small amounts and individual items; this includes: dash, pinch, each, and as needed.
