Welcome to our biggest match day update yet! This version introduces deep simulation mechanics, live tactics, and massive upgrades to the match engine:

Live Match Engine & Gameplay Depth

Stamina & Interchanges: Players now dynamically burn stamina based on their involvements (hit-ups, tackles, errors). You can now click the "Interchange" panel during a live match to make manual substitutions before your stars burn out!
Sin Bins & Foul Play: Aggressive players can now commit professional fouls or high tackles. If the referee has had enough, they'll be sent to the Sin Bin for 10 minutes, leaving their team with a massive 15% defensive disadvantage.
In-Match Injuries: Keep an eye on the commentary feed. Fatigued or fragile players can now sustain injuriesmid-match, forcing you to use your bench dynamically.
Monumental Commentary Expansion: Added hundreds of new dynamic commentary lines. The feed now organically reacts to momentum shifts, lead changes, devastating linebreaks, and clutch match-winners.
Living World & AI Improvements

Smart AI Squad Rotation: The AI no longer mindlessly plays its top 17 every week. Rival teams will now actively rest fatigued stars and utilize their entire 30-man depth chart, creating more realistic season long campaigns.
New Personality Traits: Recruits can now generate with the "Hot-Headed" (penalty prone) or "Glass" (injury prone) traits, forcing you to weigh the risks of signing highly-rated but deeply flawed prospects.
UI & Polish

Complete Brutalist Overhaul: The sleek, pitch-black UI with neon green accents ("The Terminal" aesthetic) has been rolled out universally across the remaining menus, including the Trade Market, Player Comparisons, Finals bracket, and End of Season awards.

NRL-Style Finals Series Experience a full 4-week finals bracket — Qualifying Finals, Semi Finals, Preliminary Finals, and the Grand Final with golden point for drawn deciders. Fight your way to the Premiership!

Mid-Match Tactical Adjustments Change your game plan on the fly. Toggle between yardage styles, kicking strategies, and defensive formations during live matches to respond to the action in real time.

Player Comparison Tool Compare any two players side-by-side with colour-coded attribute breakdowns, an advantage bar, season stats, and contract details. Available from any player profile.

17-Team Premiership with Byes The competition now features 17 teams — including the new Western Sydney Wolves — with authentic bye rounds, just like the real NRL.
