- v1.16.8iOS
This bug-fix release improves Speed Run reliability during background use. Speed Run tracking now continues while the app is in the background. Improved HUD behavior so Speed Run UI updates only when the app is active. Fixed lifecycle handling to restore/hide the Speed Run HUD correctly when returning to the app, while keeping expensive map rendering paused in background.
- v1.16.7iOS
This update makes recording much more resilient. Pending location writes now survive app restarts and recover cleanly after partial saves, recording setup is more reliable when launched from shortcuts or intents, and the app is better at restarting location services after temporary signal or network issues. Import flow reliability is also improved with safer CSV cleanup and better handling for iCloud Fog of World downloads. Under the hood, location prediction in the Kalman filter is smarter, heat map rendering is now deterministic, and new tests were added to cover queue persistence and motion filtering edge cases.
