Apple Watch • Complications now carry your category color on every face style. • Fixed rendering of the large rectangular complication. Sync & reliability • Horizon now detects when you switch iCloud accounts and walks you through a clean restart so your data stays separated. • Faster sync between your iPhone and iPad for pinned events and manual category corrections. • Smarter background updates and improved sync stability throughout. Fixes & polish • Numerous stability and design-consistency improvements.
- v1.5.4iOS
Bug Fixes: - 1.5.3 had a sync issue that could leave iCloud data duplicated across devices. 1.5.4 fixes the underlying race and automatically cleans up any duplicates on next launch. If iCloud still seems stuck after updating, open Settings → iCloud & Sync → Re-download from iCloud for a faster recovery.
- v1.5.3iOS
What's New in v1.5.3 Smarter Notifications Horizon no longer duplicates your calendar app's reminders. Event notifications are now off by default for new users. You can still enable per-category reminders anytime in Settings > Notifications. Countdown Milestones for Watched Events Track events that matter most and get milestone updates as they approach. Horizon sends countdown notifications at various milestones, and a morning-of reminder. Toggle milestones on or off in Settings or during onboarding. Refreshed Onboarding A streamlined setup experience highlights Watched Events, lets you know you can create custom categories, and puts notification controls front and center.
- v1.5.2iOS
Horizon v1.5.2 Release Notes Watchlist - Journey progress trail -- Watched event cards now show a winding path that visualizes how far along you are from when you started watching to the event date, with milestone markers at 25%, 50%, and 75%. The traveler dot glows with increasing intensity as the event approaches. - Redesigned empty state -- The Watchlist empty state is cleaner with a decorative animated trail and simplified messaging. Calendar Hints - Direct Mapping mode -- Calendar Hints now supports two modes. Hint (the default) influences categorization while still allowing AI to make the final call. Direct bypasses AI entirely and always assigns the chosen category at full confidence. Both modes are available from a new mode picker in the calendar hint sheet. - Recategorization on change -- When you change a calendar's hint or mapping, Horizon now asks whether to recategorize existing events from that calendar. Only affected events are processed, and manually categorized events are always preserved. General - Consistent terminology -- "Categorize" and "recurring" are now used consistently throughout the app, replacing the previous mix of "classify" and "repeating." - Accessibility improvements -- Animations throughout the app now respect the Reduce Motion accessibility setting. Confidence badges and countdown timers include VoiceOver labels. - Design consistency -- Spacing, navigation titles, and confirmation dialogs have been standardized across all settings pages. Bug Fixes - Fixed frozen countdown badges -- Time-relative badges (e.g., "in 5 hours", "3 days ago") were computed once and never refreshed, so they would display stale values until the view was fully reloaded. They now update every 60 seconds. - Fixed locale mismatch in timeline grid -- The midnight hour label was hardcoded as "12 AM" instead of using the system formatter, causing a format mismatch for users in 24-hour locales.
- v1.5.1iOS
What's New in v1.5.1 Onboarding: - New reassurance banner on the calendar selection step clarifying that Horizon only reads your calendars and never creates, edits, moves, or deletes events without your direct action. Calendar selection (onboarding and Settings > Calendars): - Calendars within each account are now sorted alphabetically. - Added per-account Select All / Deselect All for quick bulk toggling when you have many calendars in one account. Event detail - Classification section: - The "Looks good" confirmation (previously "Looks right") no longer pops up a series scope dialog for recurring events. One tap now dismisses the review row, teaches Horizon that the current category is correct, and leaves the original source label (AI classifier, Apple Intelligence, etc.) intact instead of overwriting it with "You set this". - Simplified the classification info display so technical identifiers no longer leak into the UI. - Added mlModelRenormalized to the friendly-label mapping so it renders as "AI classifier" instead of falling back to "Auto-classified".
- v1.5iOS
Whats New: - Support for iOS 18. This version works the same as the iOS26 version without the foundational model capabilities the iOS 26 introduces.
