Collins Bird Guide is now available in Dutch! We've also added some new songs and calls, made improvements to the Identify Assist AI models and added the option of a spectrogram to audio identification.

Our audio ID model is better than ever, and we've improved the reliability of downloading the model. (Subscription required.) We’ve also added new songs and calls as well as Basque species names. Finally, we’ve squashed lots of bugs, such as the text search not working whilst filtering species.

This major new update includes the recently published third edition of the Collins Bird Guide book. Existing users can buy the new content with a one-off purchase inside the app (currently only available in English and Swedish with other languages coming soon). Listing has been significantly improved and moved into its own free companion app which works seamlessly with the Collins Bird Guide. New settings are available to hide species from outside your region, change the font size, and choose to stream or download videos.
