Apple Watch makes it easy to track shots without touching your phone. Auto swing detection captures each swing as it happens. Set the pin from your watch to quickly capture the hole location.

On iPhone, the experience has been totally rebuilt to make it even easier to focus on golf. Tap once at the start of your shot. Tap once to pick a club, if you want to. No more confirming your lie or location when you arrive at the ball.

Miss a shot? Map-based entry is a tap away mid-round — perfect for plugging in putts and chips without relying on GPS. Full round visibility makes edits easy. Insert shots, add shots, or adjust on the fly. Delete-and-restart is an option, never a requirement.

This release also adds built-in scorecards and Local Rule E-5 support for two-stroke penalty drops.
