In 2025, the Virginia General Assembly revised the child support guideline table increasing the table to include incomes to $42,500 (from $35,000) and changing the amounts throughout the table. This new version includes the updated table in effect on July 1, 2025.

This version is here only to help existing users. New users: Please use the Va. Child Support app (without "2014" in the name). The price and support will be much better.

Two formula updates:
1) Interpolation between child support table rows more precise. (Corrected early rounding problem.)
2) Sole calculator still requires minimum child support level BUT allows credits to reduce the obligation to as low as $0 (instead of requiring the minimum in all circumstances).

Some minor formatting updates:
1) Sole calculation report uses * to mark who is the custodial parent.
2) Some text labels were cut off.
3) Removes parent name for receiving child support in sole calculator if amount of support is $0.
