- v2.1iOS
Version 2.1 — Location History ForceMaps 2.0 brought a complete rewrite of our link detection engine for faster, more reliable redirects. Now 2.1 takes it further with Location History. What's New: • Location History — Every address and direction you open through ForceMaps is now saved in a dedicated History tab. Search past locations, sort by date or name, and tap to reopen in Apple Maps or Waze. • Swipe to delete individual entries or clear everything at once. • History updates in real-time — no need to refresh. Privacy First: • All location history is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your data. Your history never leaves your phone. Improved in 2.0+ • Completely rewritten redirect engine — more accurate interception with fewer false positives. • Call, Website, Share, and Save buttons are no longer accidentally intercepted. • Faster redirects to Apple Maps and Waze.
- v2.0iOS
Version 2.0 - Smarter, More Reliable Redirection We completely rebuilt our link detection engine from the ground up. Here's what's new: Fixed Call button issue — Tapping "Call" on a business listing now correctly dials the phone number instead of opening Maps Precise link detection — Only actual Google Maps links and Directions buttons are redirected. Website, Share, Save, Order, Reserve, and other action buttons are never intercepted Fewer false positives — The extension now stops searching the moment it finds a non-maps link, so nearby buttons no longer get caught in the crossfire Cleaner, faster code — Reduced from over 1,000 lines to around 430, removing redundant listeners and stale debugging code for snappier performance
