Modified configuration setting to keep support for iOS 18.

We've updated the app for iOS 26.0.

Updated some trail information. Built to support iOS 18.6.

This version has a couple fixes in it as well as updating the app for iOS 18.
The maps and display code have been updated.
Don't forget to try out the Trail Safety feature additions. You can share your trail and location coordinates with friends and family. Let them know where you started from and what trail you are hiking.

A couple new trails. We've added more cave trails and some improvements to make things peppier!

We have had a lot of input and help from Sedona Search and Rescue folks (Thanks Darrell!). That’s why we have added a Freeform Hiking map screen from the main screen. This can use different coordinate systems and provide hours of fun :). You can explore and track and share your location in the Sedona area. Lots of location techie stuff in there for coordinate. Create Breadcrumbs and have fun but BE SAFE.
And, we have added more Trail Safety features in the Hike Map screen, share your location, share the trail info with someone and let them know where you are.

This version has a couple fixes in it. Fixes a bug that prevented Breadcrumbs from being deleted, apologies on that.
A couple new Trail Safety feature additions. Share the trail name and your current location with family and friends and have added a "off the trail" warning you can turn on to let you know if you're straying.

This version is all new code, bringing things up to date. Let us know if you find issues. We appreciate your help!
This version uses a newer lighter hike package format so the ones you have downloaded won't work, sorry but the tradeoff should be worth it.(we'll keep a list in the app of what trails you had downloaded previously)
You can view the trailhead and your location on the map right in the Select screen.
There is a new Breadcrumb feature! In the hike screen select the ... menu and you can track your own progress. Remember to save the breadcrumbs if you want to keep the "crumbs".
All App Trails is “baked in” now so you have access to all the trailhead location info at any time. Check out the menu in the “Hike” screen for "Show all the trailheads"
Does everything the previous version faster did and more.

We have added a feature to see how far from you another location is on the map. Long press the point on the map and see the distance (as the crow flies). Now the current trail name will be displayed on the top of the map screen. All App Trails is “baked in” now so you have access to all the trailhead location info at any time. Check out the menu in the “Hike” screen for All Apps Trail.

We've added the compass back into the hike screen. New feature “Where am I” map feature to center map on User’s position. We've added an info button to Trailhead finder list in AllAppTrails.

An update to fix a bug that messed up the background screens on XR and X Max phones. Our humble apologies.

Just a bug fix, but a pretty important one. The provider for the server made a change and broke the hike download process. We had to do some re-work of the hike downloader to get around their foolishness.
We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience to those that loss the use of the app for trails that they wanted.
Please accept our apology.

We’ve added some features to display trail segments, or combine trails. Download, or re-download Fay Canyon or Skywalker to see the change. Also made the hike names in the Select a Hike screen look less techie.

Lots of new fun stuff!

We've added search ability to the download screen. Helps you find the hikes you want lickety-split.

We now have a compass in the map screen, icon in upper left. Uses the device magnetometer. See our Facebook page for another use for the compass to help keep you on the trail. Additionally, might give interesting readings in Vortex areas. Let us know!

You will see a new high clearance vehicle icon in the Download screen for those trails where you'll need one to reach the trail head. Helps you to prepare for the trail.

You've now got a share button on the Map screen to hit social media, or share your location with friends.

You can now drop your current location into your trail note if you have "show my location" on from the map screen.

Other Mickey mouse technical stuff we won't bore you with here.

Added the favorite star to the Select a Hike screen so you can see your favorites at a glance. Had to make the Humidity display a little larger to show bigger humidity numbers for this soggy winter.
Lots of little internal refreshes and some fixes to speed things up.

Converted all links to https for enhanced security. A few bug fixes. Build and tested for iOS 10.
And we're still the only Sedona App that lets you follow your progress on the trail in real time.

Added a new trail notes feature. Lets you add your own trail notes for each trail and share them if desired. Add the note from the trail screen and you can access and edit them from the main screen. Thanks Maryland Marc for the suggestion!

All the goodness that was in version 1.36 above and a bug fix that didn't show the new trail note option on some trails.

There were some minor UI tweaks.

We redesigned the download screen. This makes discovering trails that might interest you easier. Just poke the i button to see the features of that trail. The screen now shows trails you have previously downloaded and when.  The download screen shows the trails that are vortex areas and the trail ratings. Easy-peasy. :) Updated for iOS 9.

Vortex Hunters ! - We've added icons to the download screen to to make it simple to see which trails have Vortex sites.  We've also added icons to better show trail ratings in the download screen.  The AllAppTrails map makes it easier to locate the trailhead you're interested in.

More updated graphics for iPhone 6 Plus.  New Location Services permissions prompt.

This version fixes location services that don't work in iOS 8.x.
